the dj cyber fight was dumb, but literally everything else is perfect. the style in generational, the story is engaging, the gameplay is killer. i was totally blown away from beginning to end.

everything bounces like a 1930s cartoon, but if every frame was filled in with the mspaint bucket tool on a high-contrast 240p monitor. i have a high tolerance for intense visuals but i couldnt make it half an hour without needing a tylenol. playing on keyboard, literally all of the controls are done with your left hand, with the best strategy being keep it stretched out from the shift key to the v key during every combat encounter. this game feels like a cruel joke to make the player feel as much pain and discomfort as possible without resorting to an electroshock peripheral

not only is it audiovisual perfection, but its done in a way that enhances the gameplay. theres a visceral punch when you kill a cultist, everyone stands out from the environment except for the sniper you play as, and the cutscenes have a really characterising scratchiness. the gameplay is already really fun and engaging, but its everything surrounding it that elevates this to a must-play. they should teach about this game in colleges

this game is great! im impressed that they made the corporate art style look appealing. i feel like weapon degradation is perfect for a roguelike, and they made it work really well

the style is SO fun, i wish i liked this game more. but so much of it is holding forward, and the rooms that arent are way more annoying as a result. i do not feel like making myself replay this for the good ending
