Having fun - needs a bit more optimization, as there's lots of graphical problems, but the monsters are great (if easy, during the main story, still in chapter 1). Def worth playing.

PURGE THE XENOS! SLAY THE HERETICS!

While I loved Company of Heroes 2, this installment is not ready for a general release, and feels more like a beta product than a complete game. One of my first games featured a USF player exploiting a bug for infinite free reinforcements of infantry units on their front line. Game breaking bugs like this make multiplayer unplayable until these exploits are patched.

The UI is also very difficult to parse compared to CoH2. The placement of the units at the bottom of the UI is particularly questionable, as it's very difficult to see.

The latest Thrones of Decay DLC is really exciting. Power Creep is a bit of a problem, with a lot of the new factions being a bit on the OP side, especially the new dwarven airships, but, honestly, that's ok. Was nervous after Shadows of Change, but hoping they continue this trend of good new content.

1.3 was a huge step in the right direction. I've had a lot of fun since then, and have confidence the game will only get better with time.

KILL MAN-THINGS! YES YES!!

Having played every Total War title since the original Rome: Total War, this is the best one yet. Giants, tanks, dragons and magic really shake up the battles. Each race feel completely unique, and the variation among factions makes every playthrough feel like a new experience, more so than any of the past total war games. While people might complain about the price of DLC, I think the experience once all of the races have been added and the new continents openned up, will make for an awesome, truly epic experience that will make the money well spent and worth it
