Grape is already a fruit. Grapefruits taste nothing like grapes, and even if they did, it's completely stupid and unnecessarily confusing to name a fruit after another fruit and think it'll be fine to distinguish between them by just adding "fruit" to the end. Supposedly they weren't named after the grapes we know, but after a different fruit that looks like grapes called the seaside grape, which it may or may not taste like. Doesn't change anything, it's still completely stupid. We shouldn't use senselessly confusing names just because some settlers came up with them hundreds of years ago. Just make an original word for christ sake. Also ♥♥♥♥ "eggplant".

Yes, call me a snob, but I usually find the tastes of the majority to be brainless. When I was a teenager I favored Beethoven over the prevalent 'popular' music that emanated from the jukeboxes. Just to focus on one item, I cannot understand the majority's taste in music today, from the ugliest of sounds pouring out from the electronic equipment, to the most boring oozings from popular vocalists (e.g. the incessant pounding of an electric bass versus the muted thoughtful output of a stand-up bass). We are taught to think of weird people as the exception, I think the music tastes of the vast majority are weird.
