It's a scam
Valve Employees will never ask you for personal or account information, on Steam or anywhere else. You can safely ignore anyone who claims to have mistakenly reported you - that will not get you banned. If you need help with your Steam account, go to https://help.steampowered.com/ .

It's a scam, report them on Discord.

Guy on Discord called "steven_cardinali" (ID:1327466921674674307) claims to be you and says my account is at risk of being permanently suspended, sorry if that was the real you as "Steve Cardinali" is a real employee in Hardware (assuming this is your Steam, can't be sure) but I'm ignoring their instructions as it seemed too suspicious. Just thought I should put that on this page

They still impersonate retired mods, yeah. I even have one impersonating me for some reason.
