Early Access Review
Fantastically put together little game with continued support and development despite having gone through some tough times during the games development. Listens to the community and is always striving to bring new content and updates when possible. For a fun little building sim game you could easily get lost in for hours this is one to get and play.

There is a lot this game still misses but as a sequel to Cities Skylines 1, it is a great base for the developers to grow and build the next generation of city builder on. A lot of improvements to the much older Cities Skylines 1 have been introduced along with a new xp system for unlocking the buildings and so on. Overall i feel they could of had more included in release but we shall have to see what updates come along and what gets added for free and what becomes a DLC as we know that is what is going to happen in the long run!!

In this games current state i would not recommend it. It has a lot of potential but they really need to sort out the AI and how things like car's spinning off are dealt with, unlapping yourself, and many more key parts of what F1 is all about. Currently i feel this game is broken and should be in an early access state rather then a full release game.

That being said though it is a fun game and the depth of the management side of the game is done very well, from upgrading the facilities to designing or researching new parts. But for me the actual racing part is where this game is majorly flawed which is a shame as the racing and managing the strategy etc is where is should be polished and working so it is just like you are watching a real race.

Good fun game, was not exactly what i was expecting, had hopes it would of been more of a "Command and Conquer" style game play, it is similar to some extent but there is no multiplayer or freedom of where and how to build your bases as such which i had really wanted. Maybe a further update they could bring something like this in, or maybe in a 2nd title have it more to that style.

With that being said, i can't complain that the game was not good fun, the story line was good, the missions played out well, and once you knew what each units could do when leveled up some fun gameplay was there.

Early Access Review
Considering the game is still in early access it provides a really interesting challenge in surviving in several different environment's as well as having updates still being worked on and released. There is a lot to take in when playing this game and a long learning curve but is well worth it in my opinion.

Really love this game and can't wait to see where it ends up and what new goodies the dev's have in store for us. Massive replay-ability, looking forward to more stable multiplayer action as that is the only thing letting the game down at the moment. Other then the MP issue it is such a chilled game you can sit back relax and enjoy.

I would have to say that Transport Fever 2 is a massive step up from the original first game. The graphical improvements, the building system for roads and tracks, modular stations and a whole lot more.

Urban Games really have upped the bar when it comes to transport tycoon games. Having been a massive fan of the as i see it original transport tycoon game, i have been waiting a long number of years for something which has that same amazing game play in which you can get lost in for hours on end.

I was lucky enough to be given a press release copy of the game and so far it has not disappointed me. There are a number of things that have changed, be it for the better or worse but the game itself has a lot of potential for over time improvements and additions. The game is also a lot more easy to mod and has a lot more capability when it comes down to modding. The edition of the Map editor and being able to import height maps will make for many interesting maps based on real world locations.

I look forward to see how the game develops from here, all the assets that get released and much more!! Fingers cross for multiplayer at some point as that is the only thing this game needs now is to be able to go up against other companies in an all out battle to become the greatest tycoon of all!

Fantastic little emu to buy. Lets hope they bring more titles out although there is a massive workshop with other titles on there. Well worth the buy for some nostalgia evenings.

1.0 release review!

So i have copied and pasted my previous reviews in to show how i personally have felt about the game from release into early access up until now. The originally released game was pants, it felt nothing like dayz mod did and was effectively just another mod of another game which is why it never really worked and was riddled with bugs left right and center. Since dean hall left the project and they have changed it to the new enfusion engine which will more then likely be used for ArmA 4 the game has gotten better and better as it has actually been written from the ground up instead of trying to be modded onto another game. Because of this everything we have been promised originally is now a possibility and without the stupid bugs we all got use to in dayz.
Currently in v1.0 there is a lot of content missing which is to be expected given the complete redo in the new engine. The game now has a smooth feeling to it, the reworked control system makes it much more fluid along with the realisum style they are going for is really making this game into the classic is was meant to be. The pvp fights have so many aspecs to take into consideration which could make for some really interesting fire fights, the base building reminds me of a certain walking dead building style in comparison to the old epoch mod we got use too. 2019 will be an interesting year for the development of dayz and one i am really looking forward to, things like new weapons, vehicles etc coming.

I would reccommend this game to any one who has played the mod and understands what it was like back in the early days of the mod when things didnt all work well or there wasnt much content. And for those of you who havent played dayz at all be prepared for an intense survial game which is very much still being worked on hard to improve and bring it up to speed and back on track.

Beta Release Review - This game is moving in the right direction finally. the devs are doing as they have said and getting the core game to a stable level ready for 1.0 release. There have been regular updates and fixes over the past few weeks and its exciting to see where things go in 2019. Dayz SA finally is starting to feel like the mod did back in the early vanilla days.

** Edit to review original review below**
Since i havent played dayz in a while given how dissapointed i was with what was meant to be a classic game inspired from the mod, i decided to with some friends i use to play the mod with hop onto the experimental branch of the game which is its current developed state. I have to say the turn around they are making is fantastic, i was so shocked and surprised to see the difference in this game from early alpha to now experimental branch of it which effectively is the beta version as such. The first 3 days we got totally immersed in what is now turning out to be a very interesting enjoyable game that actually feels like the mod use to feel.
There is still a long way to go but the improvements already bought in have changed my view on the game and how it is at current. If like me you havent played this game in a while or have held off buying it after the major negativity it got from the off then switch to the experimental game and get stuck in. Yes there is still lots to be done with it like adding in vehicles, more weapons, and much much more but visually this game is stunning, gameplay wise is vastly improved from what i remember, and the main thing is THERE ARE ZOMBIES THAT WORK NOW!!!!!! Really looking forward to seeing the game develop further now as it has again that potential to be the standalone version of dayz we all dreamed it would be.

**Original Review**
I purchased the alpha version the day it got released and i have seen only backward steps with the game updates and promises they gave, The game does not run well, it is mean to be a zombie survival game like the mod was but funny thing is.... it doesnt even have zombies in it even more. They have some serious work to do with regards of pulling this game back out of the dirt as it has just grown so stale and has ruined the name of dayz. I hope for all the hardcore fans that they sort this game out as it had so much potential at the start but now is just nothing in my honest opinion.
