Hey ya. I recommend this game if you like deckbuilders. Right now I feel there is Slay the Spire, Monster train, and this game which seems to take Hearthstone approach to the genre in, of course, a single player type of way. That said, I probably wouldn't elevate this to that of Slay the Spire, at least just yet. While I think this game has the best end boss after your first win ( I won't ruin that), you're going to see a lack of variety past that. Given time with more expansions, bosses, deck types, and a possible artifact system, I think this game will be closer to those other 2 games, if not better.

the gameplay i think is really good. it's full of action and there is a lot of dodging and ♥♥♥♥ going on. honestly surprised at all the mechanics i seen in the game for something running off unity.

now that said the game is probably short becaus eof that. even so i can respect having good gameplay in the game. Think adding my lets play together it came out to be around 3-4 hours. 1/3 of that being on the last scene. i usally dont even finish these games either so that's saying something. it also has another mode called ironman mode. sure it's going to double that time if you're into new game +.


i give it a solid 7 out of 10! (which isn't based off the ign scale model lol, most indies are in the 5 range!). worth checking out when the price is right for you. :)

Compared to some of the other indie platformers that i get i like this. think contra meets metriod. has all the shooting action in control with them tanky metriod boss fights. rogue element is neat too.

the only thing i'm concerned about is the Multiplayer. this is early access but i cant really find any pugs. of course most indie games i can never find pugs. i think at release this probably will cha nge. if not i hope maybe they can have it so you can join games in progress or somethign like that.

overall i think it's worth a buy if you want an action platfromer and shoot ♥♥♥♥ up :)

i like it. thoguht it'd be like rogue legacy at 1st but it's it's own game. sort of a slow platformer with a lot of focus on random dungeons. unlike rogue legacy the dugeons dont randomize every death and i'd say much much longer. 3rd stage took like 40 mins to find the goal and it looks like the maps can get 6 times as big as that.

i havnt gotten deep in the game but i did defeat the 1st boss. really fun there. my hope is there are tougher enimies late ron along with better weapon paths that dont break in 2 rooms. main complaint i have so far is really the weapon system. like to see maybe more random mobs be able to drop em(which they might late rin the game, this just based off 3 levels!)

Did a fun little video on it. Found the game pretty fun for what it is. lot of art inspired stuff in it. :)

dont buy this game if you own windows 10. You'd think a xbox one controller would plug in and work np. nope 2 pc's testing both a xbox 1 and ps4 controllers, the buttons worked but the sticks wouldnt. whats funny is demon souls 2 doesnt have this issue.

anyways i did everything from uninstall updates, disable hid stuff, roll back drivers. begged for help on a lot of forums. no one had a solution. found some deep microsoft community threads that microsoft busted the drivers in the latested updates and is why for a lot of people cant play a lot of older games that use xinput. anyways im going to go in for a refund. really wanted to play this game but all my hype for it is now gone. just spent too much time just tryi ng to get a basic thing like a controller to work.
