The demo seems nice, a bit janky in the same ways as the previous games, but it doesn't bother me. The building mechanics are mostly ok, they could probably be improved. For example, having a road planning tool that would allow you to design the grade and then have a semi-automatic mode that would help you use equipment to build the road as you designed. The demo doesn't showcase the strategic aspect of the game much, and how good the final game is will really depend on that. I assume the maps in the demo are probably somewhere around 1/3 to 1/4 of the actual maps, which would be decent enough.

So many people are leaving negative reviews because this game doesn't cater to their specific needs. Yes, there's people who want to drive manual transmission trucks in the mud, I like that too. This is a different game, grow up.
