This game is simply amazing. The music and action sequence combinations makes you feel like Neo in the matrix if you have the right setup. Hoping they add additional DLCs in the future because there is so much space available for expanding into.

Remnant II takes things to an entirely new level. The graphics, the music, the story, the maps, the puzzles, everything is just amazing.

I got this game because I grew up with Terminator and was really excited to see a decent looking Terminator game and it has not disappointed.

There is A LOT of stealth and logical thinking with what can you hack or destroy that will weaken your enemy.

The story is good. The atmosphere is amazing. The combat music is a bit annoying after a while. I never added any points to crafting, it was the last skill tree I filled because I had nothing else to spend points on, might be different on extreme, I was just playing on hard.

The game is part open area where you're set free to do what you need to do (within reason) and cut scenes where everything is fast paced and you're pushing a line or running away with a group of others. So it's an interesting combination that pushes the story forward.

Overall I really like it and would highly recommended it to any Terminator fan!

Was a nice, though very strange, puzzle type game. A bit violent for really small kids, but interesting for adults. Would like to see them come out with another.

After 1000 hours playing, I thought I'd update my review.

Pros:

-Amazing graphics
-Amazing atmosphere
-Extremely fun (some games can be extremely frustrating)

If you want to immerse yourself in a WWII world, this is probably the best I've seen.

Cons:

-Many don't want to play commander or squad lead, so a few games out of many during the week can feel rather disorganized. Especially if there is a free weekend, or we get an influx of new players. The higher ranked players are trying to rank up other classes so they don't want to do squad lead or commander, or they've played those roles so often cause no one else will that they are burned out.

-No way to check how much ammo you have.

-I always got the different German grenades mixed up when I first started. Black top = Smoke, Blue = BOOM!

-Getting on your favorite servers can be sort of a pain, but overall it has never taken me more then 10 minutes to get onto a server and considering a warfare game can be up to 1 hour 30 minutes and a offensive game can be up to 2 hours and thirty minutes, its a drop in the bucket.

Overall:

I think I like how random each game is. There are 15 points on a map and only 5 of them light up as objects per game, so you have that randomization aspect, mixed with a map, mixed with the skill level of your squad leader (or there lack of), mixed with the skill level of your commander (or there lack of). Mix all that together and you have a unique experience every single time.

I had a game the other day where we thought we were going to lose, but within 5 seconds remaining we captured the middle point in warfare mode and won. It was intense, while the rest of the team was taking the 2nd point back over I removed the only garrison in the middle point (being recon), before we hit the 2 minute marker another squad was on the third point starting to capture immediately after we captured the 2nd point, I setup a garry and everyone else came in. Without an enemy outpost or garry near, we won by the skin of our teeth.

It's those sorts of games that make the game so fun.

Misc:

-The game has built in VOIP for comms, you will need to use it. Even as a squad member you'll be calling out and pinging infantry, tanks, where you just got shot from, garries, etc. It gets even more important for squad leads to communicate between each other and the commander.

-The game is fun both with friends and not. I know some comments talk about a toxic community, but I have yet to see it. Yes sometimes you get team killers, but they get banned off servers rather quickly, when it's clear its intentional.

Hint for new players...

1) On most maps you're going to have a hard time seeing the enemy when you start. Go slow, this is not battlefield, don't just run. Your first couple games might just be getting head shot over and over wondering where you got shot from. Though the new desert and open field maps might make that a bit easier.

2) SoulSniper videos on YouTube are AMAZING. Watch them, I did, I learned a lot, I guarantee you will too.

3) It's a game. Worry about your unit, if your unit has fun playing, it doesn't matter if the team wins or loses. You can't control the team, just your unit.

4) The first person to create a recon unit is spotter, you can't switch to sniper after creating the unit. If you are either spotter or sniper, your job is not on the front line. Work on arty, take down garries, take out nodes, point out things. If all that is taken care of, come up from behind the enemy and help suppress until arty starts up again, rinse repeat. Doing that you'll spare yourself from being yelled at for taking a role and not playing it properly.

5) If you're a new squad lead, the bare minimum you need to do is just build outposts for your squad. Maybe tell your squad if you're defending or attacking. Beyond that, the rest will come in time.

---

It's a fun game.

Okay... I'm not sure the difference. But I just got a new computer, with a brand new graphics card and the game WORKS! And it is great!

I'm glad I reinstalled it and gave it another shot.

If it is the graphics card, they were both Nvidia... My old card was a RTX 980 and the new card is an RTX 3070.

I was really looking forward to playing this, but it isn't working...

First the video sound is WAY off to the point of being highly annoying. The voice overs are more then 4-5 seconds in front of the videos.

Secondly, the game crashes right before you do your first real job and then takes you back to before training once it reloads.

So essentially, the game is unplayable. Glad I got it on sale.
