As a veteran and a fan of the franchise it hurts me so much to do this to a sequel of a game that means so much to me, but I need to give my opinion and show my disappointment:

Negatives:
- Story is the worst in any Homeworld game
- Campaign I feel is too short should have been at least 3 missions longer
- Ship behavior is really weird and sometimes ships don't follow orders
- Economy is oversimplified
- Only 6 maps for skirmish is embarrassing and they are really small so you can't take advantage of the new features with the megaliths and space terrain, not even some empty maps to do matches like old games.
- Skirmish mode is barebones
- AI is really bad
- You can't use hyperspace in matches
- Combat chatter feels off sometimes is good but other times it doesn't give the military feel it should
- Denuvo

Positives:
- Campaign mission variety is good
- Music is great
- Graphics are great and technical performance was good for my 2017 mid-range spec machine
- Coop mode was a nice idea, not sure yet if it is well implemented

- New very detailed US faction.
- Hard and pretty good campaigns.
- Some of the best maps of the game.

Buggy mess

I kinda like this game.

A fun campaign (some IA problems but something that if you're an ARMA player will know)
Armed forces of the Cold War not commonly explored (FRG, GDR, Poland and Denmark)
A very good new map with a winter version
So much content that keeps expanding with new updates (fun time for mission creators)
