I am going buy every game Luca Galante makes for the rest of my life.

This game used to be amazing, one of my favorite games of all time in fact. That was until gearbox bought the IP and unified the codebase between console and PC. The hope was that console was finally going to get the much better PC codebase and receive updates simultaneously with PC, which would have been great. However What it seems like happened is that gearbox ended up giving PC the horrible console codebase. That is just an assumption but what is not an assumption is how horribly broken the game is now. This isn't even a review of the DLC which has its own fair share of major issues. It really makes me sad that if someone asked me if they should buy risk of rain 2 at this point I would probably not recommend it due to how broken (and not in a good quirky fun kind of way) the game is now.

I enjoyed this game a lot but there are a few things that I think you should know before buying this game. The first thing is that it is very short, I beat the game in about 4 and a half hours of in game time. The second is the the combat is very clunky, but this was not really an issue for me because I feel like it is appropriate for the setting of the game and most combat can be avoided entirely. Third, it is a bit of a walking simulator but I found that the atmosphere was able to keep me immersed through out the whole experience. Lastly I hear that there was a lot of content cut for this game so if you have been following this game for a while you might be disappointed.

That all being said I would still recommend this game if you are interested. As someone who does not have as much free time to game as I did while I was in school I have come to appreciate games that are shorter and can be enjoyed fully on a weekend. The visuals were the main draw for me and I believe that they lived up to my expectations. I also feel like the puzzles struck a nice balance between being challenging and frustrating. Overall I would say that this game was a very enjoyable experience but if the $40 price tag scares you away then I would for sure pick it up on sale. Shout out to my good buddy Vanbob for getting it for me for my birthday.

THEY DID IT THEY REMOVED THE BAD MONETIZATION!!!! I have not played this game since they changed the monetization but I am amazed that the devs listed so closely to the community. I for sure will be giving this game another chance because the devs deserve it and what I played of the game itself I loved. On top of all that the painting system is amazing and can recommend it for no other reason than that. Thanks again to the devs, its really is great to see positive change in this industry every once in a while

The game cost $30 but still has loot boxes, and there is a game-mode that you need to use a premium currency to play (you get some of the currency for free each day but my point still stands). Assuming that this group of devs are fans of IRL tabletop games it is very sad to see that they would be just as greedy as Games Workshop.

Me and a friend decided to get this game to play with each other because we thought it would be fun. We knew the game was bad getting into it, but there is no way we could have been ready for how bad it really was. This is truly one of the worst games I have ever played in my whole life. Do NOT, I repeat DO NOT buy this game just to play it because its fun to laugh at bad games. It will break you down on a deep emotional level and make you hate the "friend" that convinced you to play it.

The game itself seems very fun, unfortunately like many other people leaving reviews I am getting VERY unstable frame rates and the games has crashed a few times. I can only hope they fix this because I really want to play this game.

This game makes me apoplectic, Its really good though.

Got an achievement for doing everything right and still got rejected. 10/10 most realistic game of all time.
