Brilliant game. The Tom Francis design philosophy of "give players open ended tools and turn them loose on the world" lives on, as does the Tom Francis design philosophy of "windows are funny."

Great writing, too. Just genuinely enjoyable from start to finish. Not a long game, but full of love, and I'm looking forward to seeing what people do in terms of custom maps.

The game is really cool, it executes on the themes of each Killer in a fun way, and generally it shows a lot of love and attention in its design.

It's a game with a fun premise that didn't quite nail the mark on implementation. There's a fantasy world that was actually somewhat interesting to me, but your ability to explore its details is fairly limited. There are some genuinely interesting and well-written choices with moral ambiguity, but they have little or no effect on the plot. There's a physics-based combat system that's a nifty twist on this squad-ARPG genre, but it can be occasionally a bit glitchy.

A difficulty spike in the latter parts of the game didn't help matters, occasionally pushing it to frustrating instead of entertaining, especially when the bigger hordes of enemies also came with more in the way of odd physics-based ways for things to go wrong. Still had fun playing it.

This is probably the best Fallout game, certainly the best since the franchise jumped to the RPG/FPS genre.

It's a wide world with compelling characters and plenty of craziness to incite. If you haven't played it, you owe yourself. Trust me.

HOLY CRAP GUYS. GUYS.

This is a metroidvania-style game. That is, semi-open world mostly blocked by things that you can get past later when you come back with new abilities.

Also, you are a GREAT HERO who fights evil with the power of WRESTLING. YOU ARE A LUCHADOR.

The art style is endearing, the writing does what it needs to do, and there are almost as many sight gags, injokes about culture (Mexican, pop, and gaming, all at the same time!) as there are bad guys to punch.

There are a lot of bad guys to punch.

This port is godawful. I couldn't play for five minutes; the default control schemes are that godawful and it won't recognize my 360 controller as valid.
