Dreadful game.

Yet another game where over half of the enjoyment comes only after you've spend 3 hours sorting through compatible mods and built your own mod list. Then... actually setting up sandbox settings is a whole entire demon. The vanilla, unmodded game, is honestly terrible. Its not fun, its a chore to do anything, and overall just makes me want to play literally anything else.

When modded, the game becomes moderately more enjoyable but is still plagued by so many bugs and just general issues that I'll be a couple hours into an enjoyable, fun, and quite nice play session, only to have it all ruined because a single zombie animation-locks me, and about 20 others come out of the wood works and have their way with me.

Vehicles are a huge issue, too. Their physics is laughable, the engine literally turning off every 10 seconds when it falls below 50% is just daft.

Don't get me started on the games 2013 release date, and the fact that its still in early access over a decade later. The developers seem to have all but abandonded the game at this point. It's a shame. I had high hopes for this game but it quickly let me down.

Honestly, it can have fun moments, and can be enjoyable, but when it isn't... it really shows you why its a problem child.

I do not recommend this game.

Fun with guns! Until there's brain matter on the wall, all over a small fib. Worth every penny.

EDIT: After playing this game for a while longer, I can say that its very fun. Especially on the Steam Deck. The DLC is a must if you intend to mod, and frankly, on Steam sales the whole bundle is so affordable that its almost a no brainer!

There is tonnes of replayability, tonnes of different setups you can get, and tonnes of times you'll rage quit. There's a somewhat steep learning curve but stick with it! Its worth it.

I am obligated to do this. The game-play is fun. The weapons are great. The mechanics are awesome. It's an all around great game to play with friends... but then we were all, months after purchased, forced into a third-party account, to which limits access to a game sold globally.

This means, if you bought this game on Steam months ago, and could play fine, you are now unable to play if you reside in Eastern Europe. Africa, ME, Asia, or South America.

That is ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING to essentially eliminate the ROW players by virtue of requiring a third-party login, when I already have logged in on Steam!!

Seriously. This was a huge fck up on the part of the devs. Shame... honestly.

Enjoyable solo and with friends but every public lobby is swarmed by 10-year-old squeakers with no brain and no reason to be on this game. Absolutely awful.

Not worth paying for... I'd rather play GMod to get my daily dose of autism.

When you know you wont meet quota, make it all better by getting together with a boom box, huffing inhalant, and dancing to a fire soundtrack. GOTY 2023.

Lets start by saying... This is a Landfall game. That being said, you can expect the utmost wonky and hilariously broken physics. But that's not a bad thing! This game with mods is an absolutely fun and re-playable experience, especially with friends. For less than a fiver, this game is totally worth it just to pick up and piss around for a couple hours at a time.

Played on Austino.net server. Was ruined by many meteor. No team. Hello team. Bad game.
