Amazing game but unless you are really into PvE Co-Op then do yourself a favor and play the PS4 version on a PS4 Pro or PS5. PC version has stuttering and invasion PvP is dead. Only reason to get the PC version is if you are interested in playing the entire game with someone else, since you can get the Seamless Co-Op mod for PC. PS4 version runs flawlessly on the PS5. The PS5 version plays very poorly so I suggest you avoid that.

Really fun to play with one or more buddies. Kind of janky but that kind of adds to the entertainment.

+ Riding dragons is cool
+ Awesome graphics, animations, art
+ It's freeeeee
+ Gameplay can be really fun if the match-up is good. Getting kills and evading death are both satisfying
+ Microtransactions are for cosmetic stuff only so far. Get a good amount of cosmetic stuff just playing the game.
+ Awesome music

- No way to communicate in the game. That means no text or voice chat. Can only invite friends to groups.
- Does not support 21:9 Ultra Widescreen
- The UX leaves much to be desired. No sound queues for basic stuff like trying to boost without any charges, or trying to use an ability that is not available. No option to turn on sounds for pings.
- Limited movement..would be cool if dragons could have barrel roll or a dodge button
- Default xbox controls aren't great - need to remap. This might be personal
- Has a mobile game vibe outside of main gameplay. Definitely some consolitis going on.
- Easy to get dumped on by much better players, no matchmaking. This can happen in most games, but there's something especially tough about it when they are destroying you from behind.
- Very limited content at this stage


If the game wasn't free, I'd probably recommend to wait for them to update it more. But it is free, so it's definitely worth a try. It's not done yet, but it's still fun. Especially with one or more friend.
