After recently playing through all the chapters of "Tales of Monkey Island," I was excited about this new release. After finishing it, I was left pretty disappointed.

I'll start with the good: The art is well done. As with previous titles, the game's general tone is fun and lighthearted, and there's a good amount of world interactivity.

That said, the game felt like hours of busy work. Mindless tasks send you back and forth through one forgettable puzzle after another. Every item is a quest item, so rather than having multiple ways to solve a problem you're instead stuck on rails the whole game. To top it off, the ending is ... a letdown dripping in pseudo-deep meta self-reflection by the game's designers rather than a satisfying end to the game played. I would request a refund, but having played it, I no longer can... so I'll post this warning instead. Not worth $25

Challenging enough to make you rage quit, satisfying enough to make you want to come back and try again. Beating a level after grinding it and feeling lost is such a good feeling.

I got a playtest copy and liked it so much that as soon as this was available to buy I bought it again as a gift for a friend, who I know will love it!

63 hours. Hit tons of bugs, 'finished' every available side-quest, reloaded far far too many times... took a week off from being a productive member of society. Thank you for the great game, I'm excited to see what's next!!

Fun game. Simple mechanics. Well executed.

That was nice. Titles added a bit of extra dimension to the combat , which was getting a bit stale by the end of TBS2... enjoyed the game, worth buying on sale and spending a covid19 weekend playing.

YOU CAN SWING! It's not amazing but it is a very cool demo to show how a solid Spider-Man game could work in VR.

Recommend playing Free Roam with full immersion settings.. I almost fell over but it was well worth it.

Try it just to check it out, I would say NO if it cost any money, but as a free experience it's worth experiencing.

Nice space experience. Looking forward to more from NASA and others ;)

ISSUE:
The menu button kicks you out of the experience, forcing you to restart. Since it's a linear experience with no fast forward this can be frustrating, though it's short enough and interesting enough that it's not too big a deal. Would address it in any future releases though.
