The more research I do on the development of this game the more disgusted I am with myself for purchasing this at launch. The amount of AI used to develop this game is atrocious, from using it to develop core aspects of the game to create a zoi, building and general game play. While gameplay AI is totally optional, it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth to suggest using AI to make a soulless game have more life to it (why would you use a program that has no soul to add soul to your gameplay?) They tried to hide the fact for awhile when you use the AI texture feature thing in create a zoi it wasn't stealing artists work as it goes to their own database, meanwhile.....they uploaded images of peoples art to use in their database for the feature.

I understand everyone has their own beliefs surrounding the use of AI but if you believe that generative AI is morally wrong in terms of theft, and companies using it to cut costs and not hire more employees, steer clear of this game. There are other life sim games besides The Sims that are out or still in development!

I'm very disappointed in writing this. But in its current state I can't recommend this at all. The new gameplay is very interesting and adds a lot more to do, but these things feel totally unfinished, like still in the alpha stages of development.

Performance for House Flipper in general is now horrendous. My game personally before the farm dlc was running between 74-85 fps, now it's a miracle if it hits 60. Things like the drone caused my fps to dip to under 20fps. I also frequently experienced hiccups and once my game froze.

Back to new gameplay feeling unfinished, the new drone feels clunky as hell to operate and the controls (to me) just seem really weird. The lift from the "where's molly?" job made me super frustrated, and I completely gave up on building the roofs as it seems damn near impossible.

My game performance even outside farm DLC is very bad, and things like placing furniture and painting just now feel very tedious and clunky to me.

I love this game a ton, but as of right now, I wouldn't reccomend buying it. I'm really hoping the devs can take a look at this dlc and begin to work on fixes.

I just finished this game minutes ago and all I can say is, wow. What a masterpiece this is. From the story, the game mechanics, to the art style. The devs nailed everything. The fact that the protagonist is a cat, and the developers acknowledging that playing as a cat will have its limitations compared to other RPGs is a really creative approach.

I am someone who will look at a price of a game and go, "if this costs 30$, am I going to get about 30 hrs or so out of this?". I got 11hrs clocked in (maybe about 10 from being afk) and I feel this is worth every penny. If you are looking for a RPG that's different, please do yourselves a favour and pick this gem up!

A very wonderful game that can be an easy time sink after a long day. You can tell the developers are very passionate about their game and put in a lot of thought and effort into their DLCs and even free content updates.

Some people might say to wait till next year for House Flipper 2, but if you’re going to put in a decent amount of time into the game before Q3 of next year, I would definitely pick this gem up, especially if it’s on sale. I also highly recommend checking out the items in the steam workshop!

I hope the devs keep up the good work and I’m very excited for House Flipper 2 <3
