This is THE game of all time for me. And it's definitely one of the best RPGs, if not the best. I can always come back and play it and not get bored, even though I've probably sunk >1000 hours since I first played all those years ago.

I love the annoying combat. I love the jankiness. I love the sh*tty 2000s graphics. The characters mean everything to me. I love that I can be anyone. I love the world they built. I even love the f***ing blight. Origins is such a good mix of fantasy and horror. It's dark, grim, and beautiful.

With that being said, it is horribly optimized for modern computers and is unplayable without certain mods/patches. You probably won't just be able to run it normally, unless you want to play with constant crashes. But it's all worth it to kiss Morrigan.
