Resident Evil 6 Is a game with terrible controls, agonizingly frustrating quick time events, and plot points that lose themselves in questionable writing.

But It is the most fun I've had playing a game in a long time.

A lot of people really are upset with the direction that the Resident Evil games went with this one, and while I can kind of understand why, In my opinion It's more of a Resident Evil game than the newest release. Chris's campaign drives far away from survival horror into action with slight horror elements, but it really packs a punch with its story of Chris dealing with past traumatic experiences and him still continuing to be a captain but wanting to retire. Leon's campaign is closer to the original Resident Evil games and is a blast to play.

The return of the characters seen in previous games is a staple in the Resident Evil series, and this game pulled it off well. The player is thrown into the narrative of the campaign they choose to play, and there's never a dull moment. While this game Isn't really a horror game anymore, It's extremely engaging and fun to do co-op with other players and even take each other on as the characters in the Survivors DLC (some of my favorite DLC that I've ever played, honestly),

There's really not much else I can say about it. I love this game even with its faults. I can't recommend the experience enough!!!!
