I wanted to focus on nothing but the game for the week that it came out. This was a game that I was looking forward to ever since the first trailer dropped 4 years ago, and I'm happy to have finally completed it yesterday at 3AM, setting my controller down with a wide smile on my face.

I loved my journey.

For a new studio to release a game to the scale and ambition of this game is an impressive gamble, and I'm more than happy that it appears to have paid off based off the reviews. The game is amazing, and as someone who grew up watching Journey to the West at my grandparents apartment late at night I had the biggest smile on my face and pointing at my monitor when certain references came up. The nostalgia that it hit for me, combined with the amazing gameplay, beautiful visuals and unique boss fights made me very happy to see more people become familiar with the epic saga of Wukong.

The game is not perfect, but I'd reckon to say it's the best Wukong game that currently exists, and will most likely hold that title for some time. I had a good time, and I am excited to see what's next from Game Science.

I am a proud Larian Simp.

Ever since I first laid on hands on the masterpiece that was Divinity Original Sin 2 I knew that the RPG's Larian makes are filled with love, passion, and bugs that will eventually get patched out. The moment I saw that Larian would be in charge of creating Baldur's Gate 3 I couldn't have been more excited to play another Larian game, and hopped onto early access. the moment I could.

100 hours later and finishing the game I find myself in a similar state that I felt when I finished reading a good book or watching an amazing show. The joy of completion yet the desire of wanting more. Larian has created yet another masterpiece of an RPG that not only has engaging gameplay but a story that kept me entranced and forgetting that it's 3AM on a weekday. I am truly happy to be able to experience it.

It's not perfect, bugs and imperfections exist; from random models T-Posing, certain cutscenes not playing, weird AI pathing, companion approval bugs and etc, but I have faith that Larian will be able to tackle and resolve these bugs. For my playthrough I was fortunate enough to have had no gaming breaking bugs, and I'm already eager to jump in for my 2nd playthrough.

Thank you Larian, and I'm going to be enjoying Baldur's Gate 3 for quite a while, and waiting for whatever game comes next from your studio!

For me I just love that I can sit down and play Darkest Dungeon 2 whenever I want without feeling like I need to commit a week of my time into playing the game. With the new gameplay cycle taking around 3-4 hours it allows for more runs, more versatility, and an overall more replayable experience. It's definetly not everyone's cup of tea, and I know many people that enjoy the long journey style of gameplay in Darkest Dungeon 1. I for one enjoy Darkest Dungeon 2, and I hope the developers continue to pump out awesome content for the game.
