Ignore the bad reviews spurred on by people who misunderstand Free to Play, this game has provided WAY too many hours of fun, has a dev team that tries (and sometimes fails to their own admission) things to actively make the game better, and a game loop that give you plenty of fun for the cost of upgrading your account ($30).

For an early access game that is actually using it's time in early access it is a fantastic game already and has continued to evolve. At the least give it a try, and ignore the people who just complain about anything.
