Though survivor is undoubtedly more fun to play messing around with friends than in solo queue, the game itself is the type that you'll always come back to. It's buggy and has it's issues but the devs roll out regular updates, listen to the community and communicate their intentions well for the most part. It's clear that they care about the game and how it's grown, and that's reflected in how the game has improved over the years. Being an asymmetrical multiplayer game, it'll never be perfectly balanced but I think they've done a pretty good job so far ;)
