Note: I didn't get this VAC ban, my brother did. Unknowingly. He used my account without my knowledge... Ban came from using a mod that changes the skins of your guns in CS: GO but only the user can see the change. No, it was not a hack, it was simply a visual modification that resulted in a ban. If it was a hack I wouldn't be able to play any other VAC-protected game, hell, I wouldn't even keep using this account.
