Day 1 player and have put hundreds of hours into this game. Wuwa is, without a doubt, the best gacha game on the market.

The story and cinematics are honestly second to none, and in a genre like this, that is saying something. The characters and development have come a long way since 1.0 and Kuro deserves a lot of credit for the amount of effort and love they've put into this game over the past year.

I've pulled every current 5-star so far and completed every single event up to their Steam release and this is absolutely a game I will continue to support with my time and money as I feel they have truly created something special with Wuthering Waves. The progression is clear cut and easy to understand, they have been quite generous with rewards so far and has managed to keep my interest despite other games that have come out over the past year. The remainder of the 2.0 patches and the story it has been telling has been incredibly interesting and I am eagerly awaiting what they introduce next in the story,

10/10, absolutely recommend sinking your time into this game.

Game of the year contender.

Yet another masterpiece of a game from Hazelight and it never stops being a journey of absolute masterful creativity and excellent storytelling. Games like these don't come along often enough and it deserves every ounce of praise it gets.

The best Monster Hunter has been. Mechanically and systematically feels like a fantastic progression from World and Iceborne, and especially Rise.

While I haven't had any crashes that others have experienced, the only real complaint I have is performance isn't the best. I play the game primarily between 40-60 FPS on Medium/High settings on an i9 and RTX 3070. While it isn't ideal by any means, it is perfectly playable and has not led to a noticeable impact on my experience playing the game. Graphically, it looks great, character models and monster designs look good and it's been an absolute blast playing the game over launch weekend.

To those seeking good endgame content, it's mostly there. The biggest omission is the lack of layered weapons. I assume that will come in a title update or in the expansion, but that is a disappointing omission from an otherwise strong endgame. Tempered fights, decoration grinding, and layered armor has provided a good amount of content once you reach the end of High Rank.

The weapons and combat are what you'd expect from MH. Tight and good. The wound system feels like a logically next step from Iceborne and the new weapon mechanics have been a fun evolution to the formula.

Overall, I can't complain. It's more Monster Hunter and it's given me exactly what I've wanted from the franchise. Eagerly looking forward to the post-content updates.

Fantasy has found its new benchmark.

Metaphor: ReFantazio feels like a game that has gone above and beyond the genre and crafted something truly spectacular and awe-inspiring. You can feel the love and work that Atlus put into creating this game in every single hour you play of it. The characters and the stories they tell are all incredibly full of impact and meaningful. The gameplay feels refined and like the next logical step from the Persona and Shin Megami series, with more depth and customization than previous entries allowed.

But the true hallmark of this game is the overarching story told within. Every act was full of surprises, emotions, and it begged to see what happened next. I've been gaming for as long as I've been alive and no game has affected me quite like Metaphor has. I truly loved every second playing this game and cannot recommend it enough. Well worth purchase and frankly should have no competition for winning Game of the Year.

Underneath some extremely questionable performance issues and the, frankly, meaningless micro transactions, lies one of the best follow-ups to a game since I played Octopath Traveler 2 last year.

I went in with an actually surprising amount of skepticism during the first few hours of the game. I have several hundred hours in the original game across multiple platforms and the first Dragon's Dogma is easily in my Top 5 games of all time, so I wasn't expecting a huge amount from the sequel.

The game's story, for the first half, follows the same story beats and mission layouts as the original, almost down to a T. However, the story takes a massive turn during the second half, and it's from there that I really began to love the overall story and characters. It felt familiar to what I loved all those years ago when the first game came out, but refreshed in a slightly more modern take.

Combat and gameplay are massively improved and more intuitive. Animation work and attention to detail is shockingly in-depth. Music and audio is just as amazing as the first game, and of course, graphically it's a sight to behold.

Could the game run better? Absolutely. It runs very poorly at times. Frame rate dips are constant, I had a couple crashes over my first playthrough, which took about 25 hours from start to finish. And I'm not going to say it didn't detract from the experience, because it absolutely did at times. It was incredibly frustrating going from a steady 50-60 FPS to a 20 to 30 during a fight all the time. But, I did find, the longer I played in sessions, the performance did level out for some reason or another.

Overall, despite the poor performance, I can still recommend this game with whole heart and intentions. If you are a fan of the first game, this is a no brainer of a purchase. It's more Dragon's Dogma, and an extremely robust sequel to an already amazing franchise thus far. There is no doubt I'll be doing several more playthroughs of this game for years to come and eagerly look forward to potential expansions and (actual) DLC.

So rarely, I feel, does a game come along that I feel does everything right. From the story, to the gameplay, and even the presentation from music and visuals. Octopath Traveler 2 is one of those rare games for me.

Upon finishing the game, I wished I could forget it all so I could experience it again from the start. I loved the first Octopath from back on the Switch, despite the many flaws it had and how incomplete it felt at times. The sequel corrects every possible mistake the first one had and improved in every single aspect, from start the finish,

Each of the characters stories are extremely more fleshed out, the interactions between the characters is much more emphasized and well-thought out. The gameplay is just as fluid and more expanded upon, the visuals are just as gorgeous and well-crafted. The music and orchestral score is so much better; honestly it's hard to put into words just how excellent the music is in this game. Even if you only barely cared about the first entry, I implore you play this, as it is a Mastercraft of how JRPG Turn-Based games should be created from this point forward in my opinion.

Easily one of the best Open-World games I've played in a while. An excellent story with really good side content and stories being told, a surprisingly deep combat system that I figured wouldn't be that complex, but has a lot of nuance to it, and a very beautiful and immersive game.

I'm not one of the biggest Harry Potter fans, but I've seen all the movies and have a decent understanding of the lore, yet despite that, even if you don't care about the source material, it's a very well-made and complete package that I could see appealing to a lot of people. I'm almost 40 hours in, have done about 70% of the content and I still feel like I'm still seeing new sides to the game. Probably my favorite thing this game does is it just keeps introducing new content and things to do almost every step of the way you make through the story; nothing feels like it gets old or repetitive as the game keeps handing you new ways to do things.

I easily seeing myself playing this to 100% completion and is an early candidate for GOTY for me.

Like many, I've been playing Runescape on and off for the past 14 years or so. On my main account, I'm around ~4,000 hours of playtime and I'm still not completely finished with this game. I have a lot of love for Runescape and the constant changes the game has gone through has, in my opinion, only been for the better.

This game is truly the essence of an open-ended game. 28 skills to train, hundreds of quests, lore, and exploration to do, mini-games, activities, a huge, diverse world, challenging bosses and raids, and a satisfyingly deep combat system that has evolved significantly over the last decade. While the grind in the game can be brutal, the sheer amount of stuff and content the game has makes it all worth the while. Almost every skill level up brings about something new you can do in the game and opens up your possibilities.

While the F2P aspect of Runescape is relatively barebones, I think it offers enough to get you an understanding of the game, but a subscription is basically required at this point.

I love Runescape so much that it's almost hard to recommend; I'd compare the game to a lengthy novel or a bedtime story. You really want to take the game in portions, absorb what you can and step away when you need you. I can't list how often I un-subbed for a while, just to come back and play another 300 hours cause of the content that gets added or continuing on what I was doing previously. But I think that's the magical part of the game, it's always there for you and you can never truly get away from the game once you start. You might think you will, but that urge is going to come back sooner or later.

I'm thankful Jagex finally brought the game to Steam so I put another 1,000 hours into the game

I love this game and what it represents. It's a simple idea, but it can work wonders for those that truly need the help and support where they may not have any.

Granted, this isn't much of a game, but it's a different kind of experience that I'm glad I get to be a part of. The general concept is that you can read through various people's plights, concerns, questions, or anything that may be on their mind and you respond, anonymously, how you feel would be of most benefit. If I'm being honest, the experience was very wholesome and taught me how I may handle some problems I have.

It can be quite heart-wrenching to read a cry for help from someone, but if anything I wrote could have helped them, even just a little, then I know that this was the game for me. I recommend everyone at least try it out, a lot of people tend to suffer in silence and I feel a game like this is a way for those people to get the help they need or want, but don't know how to get it or where to start. And who knows, maybe you can be the answer to someone's prayers.

Early Access Review
One of, if not the best, VR experiences I have played in quite some time. Just a ton of fun and a great workout.

It's such a simple concept, but it is executed with excellent precision, and with it only being in Early Access with much more to come throughout the year, it is already easily a must have for any VR library.
