Hello there~
Using Discord mode is very important in EUB since it's the main way of obtaining lives. I would recommend practicing each stage and remembering which parts of the stages you can survive in discord mode, that way you can get up to 3 life pieces from Discord without worrying about dying too much.
A few extra tips:
-Entering Discord cancels bullets close to you, so you can use it as a replacement bomb if you need it. Just keep in mind it makes the patterns harder after.
-You can cancel Discord by pressing the Discord key again after a few seconds have passed. You can combine this with the previous tip for multiple bullet cancels without using bombs.
-If you get hit during Discord while you have bombs you will autobomb, which uses up 2 bombs instead of just 1. Make sure to bomb before getting hit to use less bombs!
