i found this game and suggested it to friends. we all bought it and tried it out - the game was funny and enjoyable

this was my splitgate 1 review:

Game is completely dead.

If you are playing ranked at a high rank, you are likely to run into the same people every game.

If you are playing anything but ranked, most of the lobby are actually bots disguised as real players.

The coding on the bots is extremely bad, if you are within 20ft of a bot and you do any kind of damage to them, they snap onto you and just start aimbotting you.

And the queue times for everything is horrendous.

Nice game and concept just a shame its the way it is.

After playing splitgate 2 i think the game has huge potential and feels actually very very good in so many ways. they have really done something right now and i actually have high hopes for the game.

however the bots are still a problem, when someone leaves a match they are replaced by a bot for the rest of this match. and its less bad, but again its still impossible to kill them if you are low health because they snap onto you instantly no reaction time just they fire back at u even if completely behind them, they are not human like at all. do not try to fire at a bot if you aren't above half hp you will almost always lose the fight. and whatever you do, DO NOT get within like 5 steps of a bot because it will ALWAYS double melee u to death. if u get anywhere near a bot, it will literally lunge at you and smack the f*ck out of you and then it will finish you off with a second hit. these bots are no joke. other than this... great game, very impressed by 1047 Games. you are working hard and it is very clear to see

i have to refund this its unplayably boring, its way too slow and basically just a walking simulator. not really even a platformer when theres 0 air control

amazing, beautiful game with incredible storyline

crazy addictive but slightly repetitive for me

pretty difficult and very immersive

little bit scuffed but that makes it feel more unnverving and creepy in a way, but its decent gameplay that will last you an hour or 2 and also not bad for the achievement hunters, will probably play chapter 2 if the price is reasonable

was a really good playthrough, still waiting for chapter 2 (if it's free or not stupid expensive)

very nice emotional 2D platformer with beautiful short story
