I'm actually disappointed in this game. The teachers don't spend an hour going into the theory of the spell I am learning and I have yet to receive a single assignment like to write an essay on how the leviosa spell was used to end the Fiddlewood rebellion, no less than two rolls of parchment. And how many house points am I getting! What does "points to Ravenclaw" actually mean?

All jokes aside. So far this has been absolutely worth it. And at the time of writing I am only 3 hours in. It is already an absolute must play, and I am hoping that there will be enough replayability two go through again as each of the 4 houses. Exceeds all expectations. I hope they make a sequel!

Not the most exciting escape room game I have played but decent for the price. Felt like there was very little story and the puzzles where either not at all challenging or did not make any sense even after looking up the solution.

Wow what a ride. This thing is story heavy puzzle adventure that will keep you engaged every hour you play. If you have ever played any of the Myst games or Cyan's spiritual successor Obduction, then this is worth a look.

At LONG last! A Role Playing Game that actually lets you ROLE PLAY! I realize that this game will not be for some. The start of the game is almost to the level of "slice of life" genre. You DO NOT start out the gate with some basic skills that make you slightly more of a bad a** then every other enemy in the game. You actually have to learn how to do everything, both as a player and as a character who barely knows how to throw a punch much less swing a sword. You can not save spam your way through battles, have to eat and sleep, have to take care of your appearance. You are essentially living a life in 1403, albeit a very exciting and charismatic life.

That being said, who is this game for. First of all, you have to be ok with some amount of bugginess. This game is not nearly as polished as I hoped it would be on day one release. If you are ok with bugs and have ever played an RPG like Skyrim with mods that retool the game mechanics to give you realistic needs and skill progression and are a fan of medieval or fantasy settings, then hands down this is a game that you need to get. It is worth all $59.99 and in all honesty should be worth way more than that for the fact that Warhorse Studios has such great vision and could use all the money they can get to keep polishing this game as they say they are doing.

For those that are accustomed to the state of modern games that mainly have you spamming buttons, this game will be hard to adapt to. You actually have to develop your reaction skill and time your attacks. If you pick up a sword in real life for the first time ever and face off against a bandit that had been living off his sword for the past 5 years then you had better prepare to die or maybe get lucky and take him by surprise. I am nearly 20 hours and the last mercenary I challenged to a duel ended after about 20 seconds with my hand and torso injured, half my health gone, blood on my clothes, and my pockets 50 coins lighter. Either be ready to deal with this reality or be ready to be constantly running away.
