A Classic! One of the best games that has ever been created rpg-wise. The liberty of the player in this well craftedpost-apocalyptic open world RPG is just amazing and hardly matched even by modern games. Huge replayability value and character building - you can specialize in many ways and choose to be the savior or the demise of the wasteland habitants, while being dumb as a door and barely being able to speak or an absolute genius but physically wimp.
Besides there are some of the most creative side quests I've seen in games for the player to roleplay. You can become a boxer, a drug lord, a zealot, a slaver and even a pornstar. All that filled with a bunch of pop jokes and references here and there.
Fallout 2 is a must-play for fans of RPG.
P.S.: be sure to download and install the Restoration Project in order to not risk losing a saved game or running into some bug. With the Restoration Project Fallout 2 is basically bug-free.
