Phenomenal game

The trailer for this game is a complete lie, you get in to the game, naked and holding a rock, you are then killed ten times in a row by murderous young boys looking for an easy target. Another open world survival game not about surviving the weather, animals or scarce food supply, but other humans, looking to murder.
You spend two minutes alive trying to gather supplies, to then be killed by someone looking for a shortcut, ruining the game for new comers.
I had high hopes for this as my friend has over 170 hours on this game, but what I didn't know what that he spends a majority of time, spawning in after being killed, grinding away to build a base that lasts one week...
What sort of gaming experience is this, a waste of time and money at the minute, one person said to me we have no reason not to kill, give us a reason not to.
Make this into a game SOE couldn't with H1Z1, and let us build towns and cities, prisons and villages to defend, go to war against your neighbours, not a slaughter house game.
It has potential.
