Survive the cold and the politics as you build your city up. Frostpunk 2 really built off a great foundation with the original Frostpunk and expanded it, made it more complex. More fun and re-playable than the first. There always something to decide, do I pursue this law? Do I build more housing? Or should I build another factory. How far can I push this faction without them causing riots?

The Tech tree is massive and while the factions will push you towards certain techs to research you still have a lot of choice in what to pursue next.

I love survival city builders but I also love political sims, which there are few well developed ones out there. Frostpunk is great in both departments.

My only complaint is some of UI decisions do not make a lot of sense but once you played it for a few hours you know where everything is and how to access it.

The game looks beautiful although even on 6950xt GPU, 5600x AMD CPU , game can drop in FPS but that is at max settings, so I think most people will be able to run game fine with a few adjustments.

If you like city builders, survival management games or political sims, this game is right up your alley. Big recommendation from me!

Most fun I've had with a shooter since early halo days, must buy if you love PVE combat.

XCOM but with cool ass cowboys. Beautiful art, music and its just fun as hell to ricochet shots to kill enemies. Laughing Deer melee ability is incredible, make sure to have him in your party.

Humankind is a beautiful looking game, with great artwork, music and unit designs. It's battle system is one of best ever in a 4x game. It gives you great variety with all the different culture combinations you can make, want Red-Coats fighting with Soviet Tanks you can! It goes for a more fun, video gamey approach to a historical 4x game than a realistic one. Humankind is similar to other 4x games but it also brings a lot to the table that other 4x titles do not.

That all being said Humankind unfortunately had a rough launch with game feeling more in early access state than being polished and ready for the masses. Although, Humankind isnt the first or will be last 4x game to come out with balancing or design issues.

People forget Civilization 5 & 6 in recent memory also launched with many balancing and design issues. And Firaxis has been developing Civilization series much longer than Amplitude has even been around.

This isnt to excuse the issues with Humankind but to recognize competitors in the genre have not been perfect either.
Civ 5 & 6 have become great games but it took both at least a year if not more to be as good as they are now.

Humankind has taken its first major step into becoming a game that will be considered one of best 4x games out there with the latest update. While not every balancing issue has been fixed, you cant even compare the release build to current game. A lot has been to address to fix the game's original problems.

-War System has been fixed with you being able to continue wars even when AI is ready to give up, allowing you to take more territory at the cost of stability in your cities.
- UI / Quality of life additions have made it much easier to decide what to build and what to focus on.
-Buffed/Nerf-ed cultures that needed it
-They have fixed many bugs and improved the AI.

Humankind is now in a state that I can recommend people to buy it, I would advise waiting till end of June 2022, for the steam summer sale. I would expect to see a good discount for the game then.

There is a lot of reading and no voiced lines. But still a great game for anyone a fan of political simulators or strategy titles.

More in depth franchise mode than Madden. Great art, music, and fun gameplay. This game brings you back to the Tecmo Bowl days but with more customization and far better gameplay. For such a small development team, which I think is only one guy. This is a fantastic game for casual and hardcore football fans alike. Support this small developer, a lot of effort and heart went into making this game. Easy buy at full price.

One of the best games Paradox has ever made and they haven't even released a major DLC yet. Buy it, you won't regret it, If need help learning the game, plenty of great guides to read and streamers to watch.
It is a incredible Medieval Simulator with fun and some ridiculous RPG elements. Play as gentle, smart and thoughtful ruler, who carefully marries his children off or mass murder anyone who opposes you and sleep with your sister. Game really has endless paths for you to take. So go forth! and Create A Dynasty that will Stand the test of Time!

HB Stuidos devs have really continued to improve their game year after year. I am sure it helps 2k put it's full support behind it. Look forward to all that there is to come for the game but right now it is a solid golf game for hardcore and casual fans alike.
