A lot of potential!

THE FINALS gameplay is fun and the gamemodes are a welcome addition to the shooter market.

Sadly the balancing is quite bad right now, so it can be very frustrating. Hopefully the devs will adress it before the game dies.

Personal, I was a big fan of the Battlefield franchise for a long time. My journey startet with Battlefield 2 and Bad Company 2.
After Battlefield Hardline and Battlefield 1 I was kinda frustrated with the franchises turn, so I took a break from it. Battlefield 2042 looked so promising when it was revealed. I was absolutely hyped for it, so many interesting concepts.

I, and everybody else was totally let down.

Everyone knows how the game flopped, I don´t need to address that, but i´d like to say it out loud: Battlefield 2042 is not a good game and stands in the shadows of the great games, DICE once made. But EA, the publisher that is a genius when it comes to ruining great franchises did it again. They killed Battlefield, trying to milk a cow, that was severly sick, killing it in the process.

Please, do not even consider buying this pile of software, assembled with no love nor passion. If you buy the game, you´re encouraging the sad trend, to release broken games. We as the gaming community are at fault to some extend, because we continue buying products, that are just designed to be bought because we THINK its gonna be good. We are getting too hyped for games, that havent released, just take a look at cyberpunk. We need to stop overhyping, its toxic for the industry!

And if any EA employee comes across this: I´m sincerly sorry that i was a fan of battlefield this far. I hope the refunding petition sparks, and yozuou finaly understand that you lost. Like we lost Battlefield to you.

So, just let me getting started:

If you like Battleroyal, want a game to play with you friend, have watched Shroud a lot, you may be thinking about buying this game. Don`t do it, i`ll tell you why:

1. The devs don`t care what the players want.
2. The game gets more broken with every update.
3. The gameservers are running totaly crappy. 20-30 Tick servers are normal, i get an average ping of about 60-70 with an 10% package loss by download.
4. Anti-cheat engine? punkbuster 15 years ago worked better.
5. Don`t have friends to play the game but want to play duo or squad? Why not play with 3 random dudes, who are toxic and flame you for every mistake they do. The community is extremely toxic, at least in the EU.
6. Balance? Not included. be prepare to empty half a smg magazine into somebody in close quarters before you get oneshot by an sniperrifle. IN CLOSE COMBAT!!!
7. If you enjoy running, take the money you save by not buying this game and buy a pair of running shoes, at least you won`t get shot or killed by a blue or red zone while trying to get somewhere in real life.
8. You think im mad because bad? Wrong, I have thousands of hours experience in many shooters, 1200 let alone in csgo. In pubg i do an average damage of over 400 per round with an kd of over 2.0. I may say im not a total noob.
9. Vehicle physics? physics in general? You may have not liked that part in school, but a game cant work without a propper physics system. in pubg you ask? Prepare to drive around, get stuck in invisble walls which decide to exist for about 1 sec because the servers are also laggy af, flip your vehicle by driving over a pixle ( if you are riding a bike better prepare for unwanted frontflips, at 20 mph), and/or just explode.
10. Remember is said the community is full of toxic players? There are also guys, who like to sit in the same bush for stright 30 minutes, just to catch the last guy of guard and cheer over their one victory, with one single kill. Even if you are about to buy the game (what i wholeheartly dont recomend), play first person. Third person players sit in buildings and look with their 3rd person cam through windows and just wait to pop up and shred you. You`ll never see it comming.
11. Loot. If you find some, be happy, but you are most likely to get killed by a camper before having the chance to even use it. But there are so many games, you try to find anything (even at hotdrops), then accepting you just got something like an ump and a shotgun, you`ll run for your life because the zone is so far away, you could easily jog to africa and be there faster. Yeah you could use a vehicle, but you have to find one first, good luck with that. even if you manage to get into the zone, barely alive, healing, and just getting shot by an dude with an sks, waiting in a bush just for somebody to come across. 30 Minutes of fun!

I easily could imagine of about at least 10 more points why you shouldnt buy this "not anymore early acces"-early acces, but im sick of investing any more time into this.

Buy it if you really want to, help the devs getting your money in their own pockets. Too many have done it and its allready to late to actually stop it, but why not trying. We are players, and we decide if we want to play broken games.

It`s actualy a pretty decent game. At least at the beginning. But due to it`s lack of content i wouldn`t recomend it, since its not even been worked on now. I mean, there are like 4 different species...
Yeah, hiding from an nearby T-Rex is pretty thrilling and you can feel your hearth in your chest pumping, or even bringing down your fist T-Rex is a great archivement, but you will get bored pretty fast after the first hours.
I often just went from site to site, looting weapons and ammo, just to run around and shoot on anything i come across without even fearing anything could kill me. Even a T-Rex often dies before it can reach you, if you have a decent gun available. And no, its not bad that it is possible to kill a T-Rex, but its too easy if you have a Gun with ammo. It was the most feared predator million years ago.

I wouldnt recomend it, unless you just watched Jurrasic Park a few seconds ago and want to run around on an Island with barely any Dinosaurs.

Oh Dark Souls, how much you changed my life.

The third part of the Dark Souls series was my first, i watched a few videos on YouTube of it. I got interrested and bought it. Loaded up the game, created a character (which took me like 30 minutes, you can customize your character very much) and jumped right into the action. And oh boy, got i rammed into the ground. I tried to play it with mouse and keyboard first, but i really recommend to play it with a controller, since the mechanics just work better with a gamepad.

As everyone knows nowadays, Dark Souls is hard, and Dark Souls 3 is no exeption. The learning curve is steeper than i ever experienced in any other games. It`s extremely challenging and even feels unfair sometimes, but thats actually not the games fault, since it got it's own rythm. Once you got it, that your lack of skills and experience is the problem, its getting a little bit less frustrating and when you start to experience its full potential as a challenging game, you can have a sh*t ton of fun with it. No matter if just the gameplay, the hidden storys or the beautiful music and scenery, everything starts to feel like a little, virtual, new home. If you give it a chance to fully shine, youre gonna fall in love with its world.

From Software did an amazing job creating such a magnificient, dark, sad and lovely game, inspiring the players, even taking the risk that many wont buy it because its too hard, to deliver whats just art.

If you havent played through it yet, i highly recommend it, its a journey that has to be experienced, just trust me as an random, poetic stranger from the internet.
