I'll mainly use Steam for chatting, certainly a good alternative alongside Discord, I guess.

Origin and UPlay don't really draw much people together to chat besides gaming clans, so that's a hard pass for me.

I totally dig history, especially imperial, industrial and modern. I don't play that many games: Most of what I do play is on GOG.

For all it's flaws and sometimes toxic groups of interest, the western world is still probably the most interesting and the most influential in this world to this day and age. Yes, the east is also strong, as well as parts of northern Africa, but all them together don't really hold up too well against what the US and NATO can muster up. After all, they have the unusual power to keep the image of the good guys, regardless what they (don't) do.
