An iconic game that stands the test of time. I've bought this again on mobile just to play on my phone. I don't know how the sequel can even improve on anything.

This game feels like playing N64 Banjo Kazooie or Donkey Kong with modern quality. I love it. It sparks the nostalgia part of my brain while being entirely original and unique.

As a massive DnD fan, this game scratched that itch without needing a DM. Playing 4 player co-op through a campaign felt like having Brendan himself DM a tabletop campaign. This game is phenomenal. The replayability with increased difficulties or origin/dark urge campaigns is wild. I can't believe more content is coming to this game and I've already beaten it thrice.

This game is so good that I don't think other devs should attempt a DnD video game for a long time.

I thought that I'd never be interested in a Fromsoft game. I was pleasantly surprised that I've come around to enjoying this one. I don't think I ever would have played it unless I was dragged into it via a co-op campaign with friends.

I don't understand how anyone, playing blind, would know how absolutely anything works. That may be my biggest gripe with the game. It doesn't tell you anything. Not in a fun way like Tunic, but in a frustrating way like navigating a dark cave in Pokémon Blue without using Flash and roaming blindly while battling Zubat every 4 steps.

This game doesn't miss. The devs are churning out new characters and new skins, each better than the last. The level of polish is absurd.

This is just another one of those games to prove Blizzard just isn't the company it used to be.

The art design is charming and the gameplay is fluid. I would 100% keep an eye on the next game from this developer.

The Werecleaner feels like a polished version of the kind of game you'd stumble upon on addicting games in the 2000s and, rightfully so, get addicted to.

This game really hits the nail on the head for Paper Mario 1 and TTYD nostalgia. I am thoroughly looking forward to the full game release. There is one gigantic fault with the game as it exists in this demo though.

I absolutely have to agree with some other reviewers about how bad the level system feels. Forcing you to split trinket points or HP between you and individual partners on level up disincentivizes you from using your party equally. I played through Onboarding multiple times to compare, and it is always the best option to just pick which two characters you want to use for the whole game and feed them all upgrades. Investing levels into 3+ characters when you can only use two at a time in combat means that you are wasting upgrades to put them on your bench. If my party is level 6, and I put two levels into each character, then in combat my effectiveness is really at level 4 at any given time.

The full game really needs to tweak the level up system. Perhaps every character in party gets their own choice between 3 HP / 1 MP / 2 TP? Honestly, picking MP is such a trap that it should probably increase on its own based on party level, then you choose between 3 HP / 2 TP per character. A simple tweak like this would immediately and fully fix the one glaring problem with the game.

This game is such a unique combination of turn-based combat and immersive out-of-combat roleplaying. Each of the Marvel characters feels unique and true to their comic counterpart. I bought this on a whim and it quickly became my favorite game. The interactions with other heroes are so well-written and have made me cackle on more than one occasion. Fingers crossed for more characters in a DLC Season 2!

This game is an absolute blast. It is great to play with friends. Each run feels like a different game; the different playable characters can drastically change gameplay too to keep things fresh.
