Fantastic multiplayer WW2 mil-sim with an emphasis on voice communication and squad tactics. Regular updates, superb graphics/effects and excellent game play.

Incredible depth, strategy and immersion. I've never played a game quite like it. I have purchased several add-ons and have enjoyed each one thoroughly, too.

I found Hearts of Iron frustrating, at first - there are simply SO many mechanics and concepts to learn that it can be daunting. But once you get over the initial learning curve (took me about 10-20 hours to get the basics down), it can be IMMENSELY fun and satisfying to chart your nation's course through history.

No-frills game, but at its core, the mechanics seem very accurate and pleasing. I have enjoyed 3-4 hours already. The interface almost has a nostalgic feel (dated, but likeable). Connecting and getting started was pretty straightforward.

I tried to jump right in, and I was horrible. Spending just a few minutes getting oriented with the controls made a big, big difference.

I am enjoying it!
