Have you ever thought of what Hell might look like?

Ever wondered how one could be subjected to endless torture and abuse?

Enter Devil Daggers, your top tier hell simulator. Start the game, pick the dagger. From then on it's endless slaughter or death. The skulls chase you and never relent, the spiders will suck your soul and gems, let's not even begin to talk about the centipedes and their ilk.

This is the gameplay loop mastered. Every run is fraught with potential but every run can be ended by a single mistake. This is a bit like being a bull in a porcelain shop and having to swat flies with your tail without breaking anything. It is hard, it is sweaty but oh so sweet when you get into a fly-swatting rythm.

Devil Daggers is perfection and pure polish. Be fooled not by its price or its unpretentious graphics. This is a game where every single action, every single mechanic, every single thing the player interacts with has been crafted with undeniable love and care. There is not one single aspect of the gameplay here that is not entirely deliberate, there is no game design decision taken lightly.

Get this if you enjoy performing the same actions over and over for tiny, marginal but ever constant rewards. Get this if you like your skill ceilings higher than Snoop Dogg on your average Friday night. Get this if you respect yourself as a gamer, if you like to challenge yourself, if you enjoy the art of game making.

Devil Daggers is a perfect game. Its flaws are entirely subjective and it is perfectly adept at what it does.

I give this the highest possible grade in any scale. This is my most favourite game to play.

Come join me in the leaderboards, I suck.
