I wish I could enjoy the story, I got all the way to the last chapter before giving up. I've tried playing with both keyboard and controller, the movement is awful, and I eventually gave up trying to get through doors, you get stuck on every object, and every door takes minutes of trying to use the awful movement controls to move backwards and try the door over and over, I could only take so much of it.

If you found the mechanics of the first game fun, intuitive, and fair, you might find the mechanics in this one absurd; as much as I like the game there are so many things that kill you that the only way to anticipate is to have already died to it before, I'm sorry but those aren't fun, they feel like filler to force you to have to play that part multiple times.
There's also "combat"... which I don't think should be there; it requires a kind of timing and precision that I don't think is well suited to this game, the control scheme makes it feel all sorts of awful, similarly to the other point, you have to play though those parts a dozen times to learn the exact positions and timings for each enemy past that save point, which I don't find fun and doesn't feel in the same spirit as the last game.
Then there's the "Enhanced Edition" that comes with the steam version, don't play it, I've run into game breaking bugs that have gone unfixed since it's release, which require closing the game and loading much further back at the start of chapters just to be able to get the necessary items to progress to spawn.
There's lots of content, so if it weren't for these issues it'd probably be worth the price, but considering the issues, I wouldn't get it except at deep discount.

Trying to sell 3 hours of garbage story/campaign missions as a separate game is the most blatant bs I've seen Activision try to pull yet. I hope this rug-pull bankrupts them.

Absolutely love this. I've spent way to much time hacking and messing with the game.
Without scripting some stuff it does take quite a while to advance through the campaign, but still very enjoyable.

Wonderful. Great story and mechanics. There's just enough ties to reality that it feels genuine and engaging.

That was an amazing experience. I played the whole thing in one long sitting, straight through the night. It's addicting and emotional. I teared up at the end.

This is my definition on a really good game.

Not as good as the first chapter, with the story being a little more lackluster, but still very entertaining and never failed to hold my attention.
It's one really good night of entertainment.

Wow... I realize some tripple A titles have slightly better graphics, but with what they had available to them, it's absolutely beautiful. The scenery is amazing and the story is moving and messes with your mind at the same time. I loved it.
