A wonderful lesson in the benefits of design constraints; the decision to forgo text, color, more detailed graphics, may seem limiting, but the ways this game works through those limitations makes it all the more memorable. The game is exquisitely polished, with engaging puzzles all the way through. For such a small dev team; an amazing achievement!

Looking for one of those old motorbike flash games, but with extensive worldbuilding through stunning background art, a hauntingly beautiful soundtrack, and a story that explores themes of family, survival, and grief?
Laika: Aged Through Blood delivers that in a well polished game that's fun to play. The bike-riding takes some practice, but new mechanics are introduced slowly enough to learn and often enough to keep the experience fresh and challenging.
At times the seriousness of the themes clash with the slightly silly art-style and gameplay. A few side quests try to tackle deep issues but don't give them the time needed, and come off as superficial. The core story is well paced though, and remains an emotionally moving experience through to the end.
10/10, emotionally devastating, would recommend.

Exquisite art style, engaging combat, and a much deeper story than I'd expected, all come together to make this an excellent game. Building on the novel world of the previous games, while improving on their execution in every aspect. The combat feels more varied, and the new progression system ties in well. If you enjoy novel, unusual worlds, this one is not to be missed.

An uplifting game with a great novel concept. Best played with a small wacom tablet, if you can find one.

The novel movement mechanic definitely makes Mushroom 11 worth playing. Beautiful audio and visuals, and a great example of passive storytelling through world/environment design.

An enjoyable little story. As with The Stanley Parable, this one is best played without watching the trailer or reading the reviews.
