Early Access Review
Lower the volume of gunfire by at least 75% or you're gonna get tinnitus.

A great game worth a playthrough. It's not amazing but it's definitely a good game and I hope it gets a sequel. If you don't like the price, just wait for a sale like I did. The story is coherent enough to grab your attention and keep you engaged throughout, with much of this being thanks to the great performance of the main character. The core gameplay loop is fun and checks most boxes to keep an open world shooter worth coming back to.

Definitely one of the best Co-Op shooters there is. I bought the game on sale and fell in love immediately. This game has so much content it's definitely worth it. Just be sure to get it on sale. The best edition goes for $25. Cool because you get all the DLC and a few extra goodies as well. You will have a lot of fun. Just keep in mind that the matchmaking in this game currently doesn't work and I don't believe the devs plan to fix it. This means that Ghost War and Mercenaries are currently unplayable, and even for Co-Op. So be sure to get some buddies to play with as other players will need to join you directly. How I found players is through Discord and Steam discussions. There are some cool people I've found and more experienced players teach you some cool stuff.

The gameplay is top tier and you will find yourself addicted right away. The main story is nothing amazing but it is decent and was enough to keep me invested in taking down El Sueno and the Cartel. Customization is pretty awesome. Sadly some of the cooler stuff is locked behind a paywall or loot boxes that you can buy but also earn through gameplay and challenges. The way you and your squad (AI or real players) communicate with yourself is pretty similar to how actual soldiers talk to each other. Most of the gear and weapons have actual real names and are actual gear the the real military uses. As a combat vet myself I came to really appreciate this personally.

Get this game. It's something you will definitely come back to every so often because it's just way too fun to let go.

This game is an absolute masterpiece. While you may be able to dispute the gameplay, it is actually quite addicting. You actually feel like you're accomplishing something, and your well rewarded for your efforts, between likes and special equipment each prepper will reward you with to make your job easier and more fun. The visuals are very much the peak of what you'll find today. But if all else fails, the story will stick with you. It will make you laugh, and make you cry. Even if you're hardly an emotional person, this game WILL make you feel feelings, and is worth playing through for that reason alone. Get this game, and play through it at least once. Trust me, it is worth the ride.

This game is honestly a blast to play. While it does feel like a DLC to 2018s Spider-Man but it does also feel like it's own game because of certain features and how it plays. The game does a good job of introducing Miles into this little universe and earn his place as a Spider-Man. The value is there in my opinion since the 17 hours I have at the time of this review was put into beating the game and every other available activity to 100% the game.

One thing I was afraid of is this game being too preachy or "woke" but they actually feel very authentic when representing Miles and his black/Puerto Rican heritage. It doesn't feel like any agenda is being pushed. Representation done perfectly.

Miles has a few powers that the original one doesn't have which makes him unique to play as and not just another Spider-Man. Even the way he navigates via swinging is unique and actually a lot more stylistic compared to the OG Spider-Man.

All in all I would highly recommend this game. Very worth. If it feels to expensive for you then just wait for a sale or get it on G2A. Also don't forget to use trainers and mods. Really adds to the experience, especially for endgame activities or replayability.

It's a lot of fun with a lot of bang for your buck but I can't recommend this game in it's current state. Warzone crashes at least once every 3 games which has of course stopped me on several occasions from getting the Nuke. Not to mention when you crash in a team, your mates are left high and dry because when you relaunch the game you can't rejoin your squad. This is an issue that Apex solved a long time ago but CoD with it's billions of dollars can't I guess. I would wait for a sale or at least until all of this BS is ironed out first.

Honestly no reason not to purchase this masterpiece. No doubt the greatest Spider-Man game ever made, arguably one of the best Superhero video games of all time. Great story, great gameplay, worth every penny. Not to mention all DLC is included. Plus on the PC version, you have access to mods!

This is one of those games that is actually fun to 100%. Doesn't drag at all. All side missions, challenges etc. are fun. Although certain side challenges within the challenges/missions are kind of annoying to get but it isn't too bad.

There is absolutely no reason to not have this game in your library.

Even in 2022 it's still fun, even though the story still feels incomplete. Worth a playthrough. FOBs seems alright, although I haven't experienced the PvP part of it yet, based on videos I've seen the meta is super sweaty and boring.

MGO is very buggy and broken but still somehow good fun, albeit very few people playing. There always seems to be at least 1 server running so finding a game is very possible. Haven't ran into any cheaters so the few people playing are playing honorably.

The main fun you're gonna have with this game is through mods. It adds so much more customization and gameplay, and also more missions! The modding community is still very active as well.

Be sure to pick this game up on G 2 A. The Definitive Experience is extremely discounted there.

Well I think I played this game enough for a valid opinion. So far it's pretty good, I'd give it a 7/10.

The parkour feels kinda floaty but still an improvement from the first.

Choices make a slight difference and it does warrant a few more playthroughs, however a new game plus isn't here so you'd have to start completely fresh.

The arsenal is decent, but there aren't any real guns so that's definitely a step back from the previous game.

The biggest drawback is the lack of a PVP. That's what kept me coming back to the previous game. The endgame loot in this game is the best but it feels pointless when you've already completed every quest. The endgame feels very hollow since there's nothing to do anymore. They've promised continued support and that's great, hopefully they add invasions or a proper PVP eventually.

The game does have many bugs, and I haven't run into many in my playthrough until the end. After I beat the game and completed every quest I decided to join random games and help out people. When I returned to my own game, my progress had reminded halfway through the game and this was before I was able to enjoy endgame loot. That is a huge bug that pretty much destroyed my own game. And since this game doesn't allow manual saves I was screwed.

Overall I'd recommend. Some of these bug are game breaking and unforgivable but the game will be ironed out eventually and the game has a nice base package at least.

I'm going to start this review off by saying, this game is quite fun. I've enjoyed every hour I have played so far. You can tell that the developers put in a lot of effort and heart to bring this project to life. I'm still in regret that I didn't back the project when I had the chance. However, there is one solid reason that I can't recommend this game at this current moment, and we shall get to that.

Gameplay is very solid. A bit choppy at times, and there are bugs, but gameplay is very good nonetheless. You either play as a counselor, attempting to escape from the camp, or Jason, with which your mission is to slaughter every counselor invading your precious land. This game is a great time, and I have some good times and memories in my 200 hours.

However, there are some strong issues that the devs are yet to address. First of all, Jason is way too overpowered at higher levels. All he has to do is shift and press a button, if you don't have a glorious pocket knife on hand, and bam, you're dead. Jason can block your attacks, which is something that a pro Jason will do all the time. Hitboxes on Jason are stupid small, as you have to be kissing him for a melee attack to register on him and stun him if you're lucky enough for whatever melee weapon you have. There are other issues with balance at the moment.

One huge issue is that you CANNOT pick who to be. You will be randomly chosen to be a counselor, or Jason. I have mixed feelings about this because on one hand, it makes being Jason awesome and a cool opportunity. On the other, for most people, they will be someone they don't want to be. This will cause some people to leave at the beginning of the game, and diminish the experience for those remaining in the lobby. People don't receive any penalty for leaving a game early, so people will quit mid kill just to spite Jason, as Jason will not get any points for this.

Permanent game bans are also running rampant. Devs will ban players for violating their TOS they have posted in the forums, and on reddit. There are stories, reviews, and videos about the devs banning people just for being friends with certain people who want certain people to be banned, and without any proof. You will be banned for exploiting any in game glitches. You will be banned if you team with Jason and assist him in any way. I personally don't like to dive too deep into something I don't know the full story about. Personally, I have ♥♥♥♥ talked people, and I have not been banned. The devs need to tread carefully, as they are possibly hurting the relationship with their consumers.

My main reason for not recommending this game, is the price. The devs have promised a Single Player mode in the future, but that's the future, not now. Currently there are few Jasons, there are only 3 maps, and 1 mode. This is not worth the asking price of $40. Developers of any game need to realize, it is NOT OKAY to charge for what you WILL BE GIVING US, you charge for what we are currently getting. This game is worth a solid $20 right now. Include a Single Player campaign, and it might go up to $30. Also, you only receive the Savini Jason skin if you are a backer of the game, which is too late now. This is not just a skin however, this is a completely new Jason, exclusive to backers, which is something I don't agree with. Skins are fine to keep exclusive to those that supported you, but not a whole new, and arguably the best Jason in the game.

Once more content is added to the game, the game is properly balanced, and the devs cool out with all the banning, I can definitely update this review. I have a lot of faith in these devs to do the right thing and please their fans and consumers.
