An absolute masterclass in game design.
Such a remarkable platformer. Tight controls, and creative and clever level design.

Play through the B and C sides, the pain makes the victory so much sweeter.


And it's all wrapped up in gorgeous art and music. Truly one of the best 2D platformers ever made.

Surprisingly good! I definitely enjoyed it.

I would absolutely not call this game a 'Souls-like' however..
It borrows mechanics from games like Uncharted, Tomb Raider, and Sekiro - and while it does what it does mostly well, it doesn't quite scratch the Dark Souls itch.

+ Combat was satisfying, progression was good.
+ Boss fights were fantastic for the most part; wish there were more!

= The story was passable, felt a little rushed at times.

- Enemy placement and variety is somewhat lacking.
- The platforming is mostly fine, and sometimes frustrating.
