If Charlie Parker were alive, he would support the progression of jazz music. It's starting to make me sick how every song nowadays has chords. Would Bird have wanted this? Whether it be Kamasi Washington on a kendrick record, or Jacob Collier playing negative harmony, we need to keep moving forward and progressing this music. I believe the next step is for all Pop music on the radio to modal. Bepop and swing music have to go..We need more Neo-Soul robert glaspers and more kamasi washingtons in this world.
