I thought the reason I liked tobyfoxs games so much was because I was pretty young when they all released and Undertale was my first story heavy game.

I was wrong.

Very rarely does a game both invent a genre and perfect it.

The best combat system I have seen in any game. The art style and animations combined with that make this feel exactly like playing an action movie.

Playing STS will make you realize just how lame items and upgrades are in most other games.

When first getting into the souls series, I thought I would just be faced with frustrating levels of difficulty, that this game would put me up against impossible challenges to force a feeling of accomplishment. What I found instead was one of the most well balanced and engaging games I have ever played, with incredible story and atmoshpere.

The worldbuilding and story is incredible, but the gameplay is just not fun. For 26 dollars you get an inferior version of what you would experience if you just watched your favorite content creator play the game.
