Screw this game and how overly complicated it is. Screw its lack of a decent tutorial and its crap community of "get gud-er" members who are NO help to new players. Screw it bc Ubisoft.

Recommended because of great fun in familiar mp modes with familiar mechanics and just a hint of special abilities to mix things up.

Not recommended for the ridiculous amount of grind needed to unlock ANYTHING. Before starting play research what characters you'd prefer 1st bc they'll cost a LOT later. Same with all the guns and attachments.

The matches tend to swing from one team to another with matchmaking. As a medium-good player this usually balances out when i'm the best person on the losing team, then it kinda sticks there. I'm not good enough to carry a team, but i'm too good to need the assistance of the 50:1 K/D ratio players on the other team. I hope there aren't bots and cheaters in this game yet.

AMAZING Action RPG. Combat is satisfying, story is interesting and everything is far as heck away from everything else.

Don't get me wrong, i love this game. BUT everything is a LONG hike away. There are also only certain points you can use to drop from higher levels to lower ones (AND NOT BACK UP). Everything feels unnecesarilly far away, so be prepared to stare at scenery bc you'll be doing lots of it. STILL worth playing the fun parts though!

Buy it on sale only. I feel really ripped off with the extremely early price drop to compete with overwatch.

Edit, this game died so fast. Was barely fun in the 1st place. Hope 2k wastes no more time on this and gives us borderlands 3 instead.

Only 2 levels done, already more impressed with this than any recent fps. They went back to the roots of a good fps, it plays out like Doom should, only with 23 more years of graphical technology than the original. I spent 90 minutes just wondering around one level admiring the details and looking for secrets. If you want a good, replayable single-player campaign; you cannot do better than this game. I'm itching to play more so i'm wrapping up this review.

Ran perfect after pre-install, nVidia update, restart PC. But I am throwing 6 Intel cores (5820K) and a 980Ti at it alongside 16GB of DDR4.

All the negative reviews that reflect ZERO hours of actual playtime are just ragers with crap systems. This is an amazing and immersive game already at just 2 hours of playtime. I personally haven't had a single error, hiccup, CTD, or anything go wrong with the game, already disabled intro videos and playing maxxed out settings.

Recommended only because Half Life is the reason we're all here, isn't it?

The graphics and additional visual detail done so far on the game are wonderful, I couldn't complain about any of it.

The gameplay has been tarnished though. Physics of running and jumping are different, difficulty doesn't seem to match on any level to where you'd expect from HL or HL:Source. These are things I can't forgive and won't go into great detail, just that it stopped me from really caring about seeing the rest of the game.

Never going to fill the half life 3 sized hole in our hearts.

Surprised to get this much game from a bundle. Started it for the trading cards, finished it for the sake of the game! Surprisingly in-depth with planet colonization, upgrades and research, none of which ever get in the way of bullet-hell fun!

2015 GOTY in my opinion. It has run perfectly on my hardware since day one, so I can't agree with it having only mixed reviews. Every minute you spend in this game is pure fun.
