An unusual world that you can explore at your leisure spans in front of you. I happened to spend a significant amount of time checking every nook and cranny, and even now there are still things I don't understand.

Comes with a great story that drives you to survive. That said, the game let's you discover and interact with the world at your own pace, with the main mission being available to you when you are ready to press on.

Also, a quick note for those interested in discovering more: try dropping crafted materials and looking at their 3D models. A lot of these assets tend not to be seen in regular gameplay since they are a means to crafting upgrades for your station wagon.

A game to get your hands on and sink your self into. A truly great step-up graphically from the Bethesda classics, with much more believable facial expressions being a key feature, while still providing that hero-you-are feeling we come to know from the studio's games.

Early Access Review
A simple game due with survival at its core. As it currently stands, I enjoy it as a detoxifier from other titles I play with loads of UI features crowding my screen. Further, beneficial assets like vehicles and more locations are in development. So, the experience is just beginning.

Ah...it is good to be back in Gielinor!

First played around 2009 and then went on hiatus in 2013. Didn't think I would ever return and I assumed that my account was retired by Jagex after 8 years.

However, after being back into computer games during my time in college, I decided to see what R3 had to offer. I was prompted to link my Jagex account and I punched in the old credentials I had. PRESTO! All my stuff was still there, Caitlynn's staff, the old city teleport tablets, my titles, everything!

But that is not the only thing that hooked me back in. The new quests with voiceovers, the Revolution combat assistant, and the minigames all renewed my excitement in the game (of course, if you ever want the classic experience, Old School is available). Further, levelling is made easier than before with the protean materials and auras. If you are a returning player like myself, you should have oddments stacked in your inventory that can be converted into said materials or lamps.

I welcome anyone who likes medieval mania, adventure, and good humour to try this out!

Lovely graphics and animations. The addition of DLCs is a big plus. However, it is a prime friendship ender. Play with that in mind!

Interesting exploration game at the very least. From someone who is often playing looter-shooters, this game is more on the sit-back-and-relax side of that spectrum. That said, once you spend some hours in it and upgrade your arsenal, it is becomes much more fun. It is definitely better experienced with others, and with the Space Anomaly feature, that is a possibility even if your friends are not in game.

Two things I thought were exciting:
- Derelict Freighter Quests (from Scrap Dealers at Space Stations)
- Nexus Quests (in the front part of the Space Anomaly)

An amazing pixel powerhouse! The smooth synergy between mouse and keyboard makes the experience one of fantastic killing intent, and not because you are angry at glitches or at near impossible levels. Further, levels are not always about hacking away, but using your environment to take down your enemies.

Of course, the story is just as enriched. Choices impact your future be it with a sharp sword or a sharp tongue. I have yet to give the psychiatrist a bad time, but I imagine it will lead to the most delightful route.
