I cannot put into words how much I love this game. There really are not enough good RPGs out there nowadays, this is an example, something to measure any RPGs by. Shadowrun is unique in many ways, most good. But before I start my big parade on how amazing this game is, let's look at the negatives. There is no adjustable difficulty setting, which I think is a plus but most look at as a bad. It can be repetitive, and sometimes a little bit clunky and unresponsive, but this factors don't occur often, I mean it is and RPG so you will be doing somethings more than you'd like to. And now the positives, there's a lot. This game is old school, in difficulty, its isometric layout and dialogue etc. The game has no speaking, so there is a bit of reading. Characters are memorable, and the fight system is superb. Choosing your crew is essential to living long enough to get paid, and you really feel like the little things you do actually will matter at some later point, and they mostly do. I love it so much, and I think it has set a new standard for its genre.

Early Access Review
Whilst the game still has a long journey to take until it reaches the sheer perfection its capable of, I think this is the most promising alpha I have ever played. It seems almost the compromise between minecraft and Dayz. You have to plan and build to stay alive, but trust is never easily achieved when you encounter strangers with guns aiming at you. What makes Rust unique is the way it balances itself, trying to incorporate aspects of many games, to achieve something that is the best of all the worlds. This game, much like dayz and other survival games, is no fun without friends. I can see this living for a long time, and I can't wait to see how it progresses.

I don't feel right putting a rating out of five on an early access game in case you were wondering where my usual rating was. :)

A very funny and often thought provoking game. You'll often laugh or question as you spend hours exploring all the different paths. I think what makes the Stanley Parable is the narrator, I feel the same about Bastion. He seems to have character to bring alive what at first seems like boring office job simulator 2014. It's clear a lot of thought went into the game, and this constantly shows through it's clever jokes an incredibly miniscule amount of players will get, to its comment on being trapped and caged in jobs we hate. I think this game isn't so much as a game, more an experience, like and interactive film that puts you in the staring role. Worthy of the hype, you'll be saying "Just one more go...." for hours on end. 4.5/5

An exceptionally good Prequel, I really felt like I experienced a real story, something rare in an industry where it seems to be all about graphics and gore. Even on graphics it delivers though, gameplay is solid, it allowed me to do more detective stuff, something which I really wanted playing the prior games. The story, whilst good, did seem to have some plot flaws to me (I could be wrong but somethings didn't seem to quite add up) and there were some really, and I mean really, expected plot "twists." The combat system felt more responsive, and I felt more human, the bat shows some emotion, and is more vulnerable. At this point in his career, he doesn't have any allies except Alfred (who will REALLY get on your nerves at times) and has to do everything for himself. I'd give the game a 10/10, the only bad thing about it is its soundtrack, the voice acting is superb and so is everything else. If you liked the previous games, you'll like this very much.

A brilliant game, great value for money as the game is endless too. Spelunky is an aquired taste however, it is by no means easy, and the frustration involved in dying tops that of which I experience playing the binding of isaac. I think the best thing about Spelunky is its quirky charm, a neat little indie game with lots of imperfections, but these imperfections make the game interesting and unique, the best quality in all indie games. The enemies are fairly standard and the music is good but not astounding, but I think the aesthtics make it really stand out from other games. The design of the levels have been thought out carefully (side note: if you wish to learn the unique way the game was made, watch indie game the movie's special edition features) and I think how the surroundings change as you progress keeps what you're seeing interesting. 9/10, great game but it could have a better soundtack in my opinion. If you're unsure whether you would find the game unenjoyable get it on sale.

Whilst you may not become as attached to the young, arrogant but ultimately loveable Connor Kenway compared to the one and only Ezio Auditore, Assassin's creed is in no way a step backwards for the series. A story that takes you across America, hacking and slashing anyone who stands in the way of your prize makes an incredibly rewarding 10 hours aprox. and is definitely a must play for anyone who has enjoyed the prior game. You'll quickly adapt to the new challenges, climbing trees, handling muskets and so on, but you will miss some of the older mechanics from Ezio's and Altiar's stories. I think the game developers wasted too much time on the prologue and if you're like me you'll agree, if at some point through it you just want to play as Connor, I encourage you to continue playing, because after the first 2 chapters is where it gets awesome. 9/10, a thoroughly enjoyable play.

Review for both one and two (because they both are fairly similar)

Incredibly fun for solo gameplay, and even more fun with friends. I highly recommend modding it to get even more fun out of it, whether it be changing th zombies to stormtroopers and your melees to lightsabers, or turning your health kit into a refreshing can of monster energy. All campaigns are worth playing through fully, especially the sacrifice (no spoilers from me!) And all the different mini bosses and the tank really make teamwork all that more vital, 9/10, both excellent plays.

A chilling and experience that takes you deep into the madness of Gotham's psycho we all love to hate. Boss fights are pretty awful, repetitive and unoriginal, but aside from that this game is a masterpiece. The combat sections can be tackled with stealth and precision, blowing people up, or going in with all fists at the ready. The story itself is well thought out, and one that makes you feel strong emotion to the main characters. A great horror experience, that truly terrifed me at many points, so long as you don't spend the game in detective mode, you'll have an intense feeling of unease. 10/10

Not as good as the original, but still a worthwhile play. As long as you're not comparing it to the first in the trilogy, you'll have a blast. The focus once again is on story and action, but misses the eery horror and madness that surrounds the player in Rapture. I wish the choices you make would influence the ending, which by the is incredibly emotional (and maybe just a tiny bit confusing), and also that there would be a multiplayer. The dlc offers a revisit to Rapture, which is okay from what I hear (don't quote me on that I haven't played it myself.) Overall, a good game that I recommend, so long as you don't make comparisons from vox populi to splicer. 9/10.

Incredibly powerful and incredibly simple to use. If your not sure whther you'd like to commit I recommend you either XP or purchase it on sale. The dlc may be a bit pricey, but they are good for the most part. I strongly suggest it as a starting point for anyone looking to get into making games.
