Rust is a good game.

Robocraft used to be great, I spent many enjoyable hours designing, fighting, perfecting robots. Grinding isn't exactly fun, but it was fun to try to improve the average amount of money I won each game by optimizing my robot. I always hoped they would fix comms so that teams could coordinate better like other team games I played. Instead, they went another way.

They added new modes that many including myself found boring, and then took out the old modes so that we wouldn't play them, taking the attitude that they new better than the players how to have fun. Then they took away the good looking blocks with the cool tints, and replaced them with black and white then asked you to re-pay to change colors again. then they took away the old earning system and replaced it with crates and make you craft junk into what you need (dont make a mistake and craft something you need, since theres no real way to organize your inventory) what a waste of time. There is an annoying lady that repetitively chatters loudly at you telling you, essentially, that things are happening. Since these things always happen unless nobody is playing, she is always chattering.

Oh, then they repriced premium so it costs way more. everything costs more. Do not trust these devs, every dev changes the game, but what robocraft pulls is on a different level. When they revalued premium, they had to do some things to not get sued, but effectively they still devalued any money you put in their system before the changes. Not talking about depreciation of already bought items, but the potential utility of any credits you have. Thats on an objective level, not taking into account that the game subjectively sucks more too. Maybe some other devs dont listen, but they are consistent and don't pull the rug out from under players every other month. This is on a whole 'nother level. I really loved this game but these devs, they seem to want to win a notorious dev award or something. Like the kind where nobody will buy one of your games again because you are untrustworthy and capricious.

Is it good? I lost my wife, family, and job over this game.
