I really enjoy this game, and am happy with how it's been handled. I'm especially glad we're not going to lose half our brethren to Sony greed. Well done Helldivers, I'll see you on the surface. FOR SUPER EARTH!

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE GAME! DO NOT PLAY THE GAME! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING OFFERED IN-GAME!

I have a couple hundred hours in the game through Steam, and a couple thousand more through their independent launcher. I've been playing this game since 2016, and I can unequivocally say that Gaijin Entertainment is one of the most scummy gaming companies out there.

Pros of the Game:
+ Extreme variability in vehicles
+ Something for everyone in naval, air, and ground

Cons:
- Exceptionally poor debugging and balance
- Extreme nerfs to in-game economy resulting in players (Such as myself with premium time and full premium lineups) coming out in a loss 90% of the time
- Blatant bias in new vehicles and vehicle nerfs/buffs to the benefit of Russian vehicles
- Extremely poor communication and transparency on the behalf of Gaijin Entertainment

Overall, the company is far more focused on milking the playerbase for every cent they can rather than producing a quality game. The forums on their website are run by blatantly corrupt moderators who will close/ban/lock discussions regarding any issues with the game or suggested fixes. They will also out of hand disregard information brought to them saying there is no proof, but will then the very next update, give Russian vehicles unhistorical capabilities.

The in-game economy is broken to the point that it punishes players for playing the game as intended, and forces players to pay for obviously unbalanced and op vehicles, or extends the grind of the player experience to years. When the devs used to listen to the players 6/7 years ago, you would get to the top tier at the time within about a month. Now? That same thing would take you at least a year simply due to diminishing returns.

Overall, I truly do not recommend this game to any new players, and am seriously considering leaving the game for the last time myself.

Really fun game, kinda sad that bodies blown up by grenades no longer fly to infinity and beyond. Only bad thing about it is that I've had this game for almost a year, and still haven't unlocked the scopes, nor have I enough 'credits' to buy one. The devs need to fix the xp gain on the game, as well as the cost for upgrades to weapons. I mean, why should a 10x scope cost over twice as much as a motorcycle????? Answer that!
