Metro 2033 is a deeply atmospheric first person shooter that breaks away from the post-CoD genre conventions and instead harks back to classic, story-driven narratives contained within the first-person perspective. Despite the trip down Nostalgia, Metro still incorporates many staples of the horror genre, but feels fresh and exciting nonetheless.

I highly recommend this game if you want something new and with a strong narrative and memorable characters and set pieces.
