Game kept crashing despite graphics not being on highest settings... Tried for an hour and a half to get it to work to no avail. Ended up getting it refunded

Very solid game, if you play career mode and single player game modes. Literally isn't worth playing online due to trolls etc. Online has been terrible now for years and even the superlicence and "improved" matchmaking do nothing to stop them from ruining your races. Also extremely frustrating when clans of players kick you from the lobby for literally picking a ferrari to drive as.

As for career, I've enjoyed the challenge of taking both Sauber and Williams from the bottom and making them title contenders. This aspect of the game is really good and the added challenge of the AI and the regulation changes help mix things up a bit in the career mode. I don't know what that yet means for the future seasons, but I have enjoyed the 3 seasons I have driven thus far.

If you want to play Single Player, get this game. However, DO NOT play this game online. The servers are total BS, half the time you are waiting to connect to the lobby, or you don't connect at all and the game just freezes. Worst part is the complete lack of regulation of dirty drivers in the game. You will get trolled beyond all belief in almost every public lobby by some prick who thinks it's okay to smash people off the road because they are not quick on track. This ultimately lands you the penalties, DQ or retirement because of being punted into the wall all the time. Unless you qualify P1 (you have to be really good), it is highly unlikely you will not win any races. Hopefully my review of F1 2018 will be better due to the "improvements" Codemasters are making to online matchmaking and the introduction of the Super Licence.

The game looks stunning overall. The Unreal Engine really has made this really lifelike. However, I struggled to play a friendly match with my friend and we both had fatal errors - mine leading to restarting the PC.

The way the game plays, the controls and the physics are second to none, way better than the competitor titles on Steam.
