An absolutely beautiful experience from start to finish. To describe it in one word, bittersweet.

Citizen Sleeper is a story about transience. You'll meet so many different people who each have their own journeys and stories to tell. You'll learn to love (or hate) them. Then, just 10 hours later, you'll say goodbye. You are not the main character of these people's lives: they each have their own motivations, dreams, and ideals. By the end of the game, you'll want nothing more than for everything to stay exactly the same, frozen in time, but you'll know that it can't be, that they deserve closure.

It makes you think. These relationships last about 10 hours, a couple of months of in-game time. But what about your real relationships? Friends, classmates, coworkers. Random people you meet on a night out or holiday. How long will these last? Years, months, weeks, even days? And are these fleeting relationships, mere fractions of each other's lives, any less valuable?

I don't usually write long dramatic reviews, but this game really touched me. If you're on the fence, I absolutely recommend it. You won't regret it.

This game is EXTREMELY janky and frustrating. It's pretty good if you can bear with it.
