I don’t review much, but I feel compelled to do so with this product. As a game developer I’ve used 3DS Max for years but after they moved to a subscription model I was done with it for personal use. I’ve searched since November for a replacement. After buying / trying various other software with mediocre results I stumbled on kHED. I immediately loved it, it is extremely easy to use. I feel at ease now knowing that I have something in my toolbox to cover the loss of 3DS. Can it do everything that 3DS can? Of course not. Does it cover all the basics for modeling and texturing? Absolutely! For me that’s 99% of what I did with 3D studio. kHED is excellent! Thank you so much for making this software, it answered my prayers!
