Incredibly interesting settings, main combat gameplay is enjoyable, and a memorable journey. Excellent soundtracks as well.
A good starting point into Zenozoik for modern audiences. A strange and beautiful world with secrets.

A sequel to the old KikiKaikai games. Style is arcade, 8-direction shoot em up, but with some modern touches of more complex moves such as radial ward build-up and shooting mode augmentation.

Game is quite meticulous.

Story: You are a civilian caught in the middle of a one-sided war between Earth and the Primers (aliens).
Presentation: Arcade, action, third-person shooter. You pick a mission, how that mission goes is pre-determined and it's up to you to adapt to each mission. Has 5 difficulties for everyone and their mom. From the sensible EASY to INFERNO (why? IDK).
Gameplay: Pick one of 4 classes:
Ranger: Versatile, multiple immediate damage option, moderate amount of support gear, moderate health scaling. Health and reload timer as resources. Can sprint and modify the sprint stats with Equipment slot.
Wing Diver: Nimble, can fly, high burst damage, low health scaling, can air Dash and air Recover from knock-downs. Has to manage Energy for every action that isn't walking or standing still.
Fencer: Mobility scales as the difficulty goes up with dedicated 2 slots for Equipment. High health scaling, multiple decent options for damage, from close to long range and from delayed to immediate damage options. Manages Dash, Boost charges and Shield (if any) health as their resources.
Air Raider: Unique to the entire game, no Air Raider NPC. Manages Credits for bombing runs, calling down vehicles (Tanks, Helicopters, Mechs, Giant Cranes, etc.), satellite beams and coastal missiles. Has support equipment to boost damage and resistance, as well as limited healing options.

Each mission is scripted, enemies' health and damage scale up according to the mission number.
Meta progression: Armor and Weapons.
Collect Red and Green boxes as you defeat enemies. Red (armor) boxes grant you permanent additional health points for the class that you are controlling. Each class scales differently, some may require 2+ red boxes for 1 additional health point. Green (weapon) boxes grant you a random gear within the mission's level limit. Play harder difficulties for better gears. At the end of each mission, the additional health points from Red boxes are divided between classes, biased towards the class that you controlled during the mission.

Unique to co-op or situational:
Revive other players with half of your current health. The revived player will receive that amount of health.
Air Raider has laser guides and guiding beacons. The latter is fire-and-forget, all weapons that can do lock-on will automatically lock onto that beacon, faster and from further away. laser guide is even quicker, but requires Air Raider's full attention.
Some (strong) vehicles are multi-seated. The pilot control the movement while others control the weapons.

Design and Balance nuances:
Enemies are always larger than the player.
Gigantic enemies (as well as allies) have truly large health pool (up to around 1 million) compared to other smaller ones (at most ~43000, averaging ~8500), these gigantic targets can also be destroyed quickly if they are surrounded.
Enemies don't B-line towards the player.

Fun game, it's like Gladiator Tycoon, so don't research Gladiator manual control, it's a trap for new players as any decent AI will outmaneuver you easily. Kino ending (remember to release your strong Champions early on)
Music is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ banging, writing this review just so I can say that.

I grew up with this game. ♥♥♥♥.
Try Dojo Decorating, that's a good pastime, very zen and relaxing.

Game is ultimately not polished, there are still optimizations to be done, and fixes to be released, every major update seems to introduce more bugs than before, and even affecting old contents.
But yeah, it's good, don't interact with its Steam Community and just enjoy the game as is.
You can get around 2-20 Hours out of it if it's not your thing and just hop in and do easy missions.

Gear-gating adventures spanning many big areas with pseudo-Nippon mythology. Unique "Celestial Brush" gimmick, contextually reliant gameplay mechanic for both exploration and combat. A circle in the air is the Sun, while a circle on a withered tree will revitalise it, etc.
Good music. 30fps lock. Can not rebind "Accept" and "Back" buttons. Gamepad heavily recommended.

Twin Stick shooter with shared screen space. Gets extremely chaotic in higher difficulties. Filled with glorious explosions and freedom and deaths from reinforcement call-ins.
Highly recommend at least Terrain Specialist DLC for the All-Terrain Boots, which will help you traverse snow and swamps.

StreumOn - the maker of E.Y.E. Divine: Cybermancy finally got their chance to show the world how much they love the 40K Universe. And they nailed it.

Space Hulk: Deathwing EE is an overall improved version of the original release. Featuring a permanent progression system, cosmetics, upgrades. Now you can purge for the Emperor while looking fabulous.

The game is visually stunning, spot on structures that represent abandoned Gothic Cathedrals, infested with xenos and rogue Automated Defense systems.

Gameplay emphasises alot on tactical positioning, well thought-out plans and routes while pushing forward against the neverending tides of the deadly Genestealers, especially on higher difficulties. You WILL NOT enjoy this game if you expect to go in and rush because you will die. Mastering the Ebb and Flow of the missions is the key to victory.

A lot can be improved and refined for EE such as melee not registering the next input during the swing animation, matchmaking, crucial stats and infos are not shown to the players, guns don't have that 'oomph' to make them feel good to use.

That being said, I still wholeheartedly recommend this game if you love 40K and want to be one of the Elite 1st Company of the Dark Angels.
