I never really got into Dark Souls. Tried it out for a bit but it never really sank it's teeth into me. Remnant borrows a few ideas from that genre, adds-in build diversity, replay-ability and some clever AI - the result is this. After beating the game on normal and hard, I've started in on Nightmare, I'm swapping weapons/mods/armor/trinkets in and out to play with a different style whenever the mood strikes me. It's always challenging, fun and at times a little frustrating when you get stuck on a boss or the regular level just gets the best of you. Don't let your guard down. This title blind-sided me, I had no idea it was coming out and it is an absolute gem. I HIGHLY recommend anyone try this out.
